Meh

Joseph A., Newegg
9 December 2014
  • Summary: I prefer to have my palm off of my pad when but the way this mouse is made your hand rides very far back on the mouse. I picked this up on Black Friday for $30 so i'm not disappointed at all but you would have to be out of your mind to pay $79 for this mouse. Its too cheaply made.
  • Pros: Looks great, programmable, very accurate.
  • Cons: Feels ultra cheap, not very comfortable, makes my hand hurt just using the thing.

Liked it while it lasted, bad buttons in less than 3 months.

Adskii, Amazon

  • Summary: This mouse wasn't bad. It was almost big enough for my large hand, it was almost as heavy as I like my mice, for that it would have had 4 stars. But the right mouse button failed in just under 3 months. I don't game nearly as much as i used to, so it seemed bizarre to me that it would fail so soon.

  • Pros: Love the overall feel.
  • Cons: I have had 2 now that have broken with in 2-3 months of use this mouse would be the best if not for the fact that it just does not hold up.

Disappointed....

Zareef Huq, Amazon
14 June 2013
  • Summary: This is one heck of a mouse for the price I paid for, $40 on TigerDirect. It is a solid mouse, not flimsy, and best of all it has a lot of functionality! Major upgrade from my 5 year old A4 Tech mouse which is showing signs of wear now, and it is as well a very solid mouse.

Not so awesome

John P., Newegg
30 April 2013
  • Summary: While I know I can fix the dang thing, it shouldn't have broke in the first place. I'm no high volume user either. I wanted to like it for the looks and modular qualities, limited as they are on this edition, but the maintenance is far in excess for what I have ever had to do for a mouse in the...
  • Pros: Feels pretty good. Nice clicky sounds on the wheel and the buttons for those who are into it. Easily variable.
  • Cons: It's a very temporary mouse for the cost... the scroll wheel broke and stopped scrolling, I managed to get into the thing and make it function day-to-day. I figured I could forgive one weak part, but then the right mouse button got messed up. Not cool. It's less than a year old, whereas my last m...

Sketchy drivers, twitchy movement - Windows XP install

David, Amazon
29 December 2012
  • Summary: I can't seem to find a driver that properly functions with my system, I'm on windows XP professional SP3 32-bit. Mouse occasionally jitters and moves on it's own, freshest drivers from the website don't help anything - actually manufactured by Mad CatZ I believe, which if I had realized prior to...

Comfortable Mouse, lots of little glitches

Ryan, Amazon
4 April 2012
  • Summary: I purchases this to use as a mouse for general use and the occasional starcraft 2. The mouse feels great and tracks well, but seems to subtly misbehave in conjunction with my Mac running OS X 10.7.3. When the mouse is plugged in, items behave as if I am dragging a depressed mouse cursor over them.

RAT 3?....Not for me!

Glen E., Amazon
16 February 2012
  • Summary: Great mouse when it works. I went through two of these in less than a year (regular use, no abuse)! Just purchased a RAT 7 and hope it's a higher quality product.

Specific for the R.A.T 3, thoughts

Pamela Cook, Amazon
12 November 2011
  • Summary: I bought this mouse because I wanted a comfortable, functional mouse that would suit my gaming and browsing needs along with going well with my new computer. I'm not going to say that this is a fantastic and a must buy, but neither am I going to relentlessly criticize it while completely...
