Cons: Should have noted that it is a MINI mouse, not a full size mouse. Perhaps that is what "traveling" mouse means. But my hands are the same size even when I travel. CALL IT A MINI MOUSE. That would save some trouble.
Pros: Works out of the box with Linux Mint. Has great range. Nice feel. Pretty solid. Nice micro receiver. (Almost thought they forgot it until I finally noticed it in battery compartment.) Love the color. Feels nicer than my Logitech mouse. Nice clicking pressure. Very responsive.
Cons: No power switch so I worry about battery life. Wish receiver stored in bottom instead of inside battery cover. Battery cover is difficult to open without batteries inside to spring cover back. Poor instructions for opening battery door. You have to push bottom tab forward while sliding top back cover backwards (Kinda anti-intuitive).
Pros: Great price for a really sweet little mouse. Even with largish hands this small mouse is quite comfortable to use. Best range from anything wireless (excepting routers) I have ever owned. Rosewill's continuing excellent customer service.
Cons: Just a couple of days after the one month warranty period, the scroll wheel took to making a very distracting "dry bearing surface" squealing. I work in a very quiet environment and this was like fingernails on a blackboard. Totally unacceptable.
Pros: First one lasted about a month, I contacted Rosewill tech support they had me check a few things. Then they sent me a new one for FREE through Newegg, this one is working as well as the last one did, which worked Great till it died. Also just a note this mouse is small, which is nice if you have to carry around with you and your laptop.
Cons: Not really a con but a plus, I didn't have to send defective product back. :)
Pros: Can hold the receiver inside the mouse, No need to worry about forgetting to turn it off (see below). Accurate and does what a mouse should do, even comes with a cloth bag to hold it inside.
Cons: Batteries that came with it lasted about a week (not much of a surprise) Can't turn mouse off without taking cover off and disconnecting the batteries, however its not really needed as with other wireless mice
Summary: First: The mouse is TOO small for constant use, it isn't for heavy use (not really a con, just not for me).
Pros: I was looking for a cheapo replacement mouse for my laptop and found this. I am currently using it for both gaming and web development work. The mouse works incredibly well! I left my mouse upstairs and two rooms over with my girlfriend and the signal traveled that far when she accidently moved it around, I was surprised. I got this with a 7 dollar off promo and it was the best mouse I could have gotten for 12.99
Cons: Two Cons, One is personal preference, the other is more of a suggestion:
