After several months of use.

james, Amazon
4 November 2013
  • Summary: Pros: Light weight, non accelerated mouse, plug n play, 5 button mouse that are programmable to your desire. The size of the mouse is small but it is meant for a claw grip. I have a semi claw grip and the comfort I am having from this mouse is excellent Cons: Textured grip wore off after a month of use and became slick *added pictures* when temperatures were cold. When my hands were cold it was hard to hold onto the mouse at times.

Almost Great

Anthony N., Newegg
9 October 2013
  • Summary: I bought this at a brick and mortor on sale for $35 and I think it is the best quality mouse I have ever owned. I have been using mice since Windows 3.1, and I have tried them all. My last mouse was a G400 which felt great but Logitec is having quality issues, so I tried something new. Roccat makes a high quality and well constructed mouse. I wanted to like this mouse but it is just to small.
  • Pros: Built to the highest degree of quality. Has some of the best scroll and button feel I have ever felt. Braided cable. Cool LED lighting adds personality to an other wise boring looking mouse. I personally love the feel of the smooth top and textured sides. Very, Very accurate. Programmable shift button is ingenious, it doubles the function of your buttons.
  • Cons: No dedicated DPI buttons. Permanent selected DPI settings. This is why I knock off one egg. It is completely idiotic to not give the user the choice of what their DPI settings should be. Especially when it jumps from 1600 to 4000 and nothing in between. Also, I just can't get comfortable with this mouse. For me it is way to small for palm grip. So I use a sort of claw grip but the thumb buttons are set to far back. If the thumb buttons where more forward I think it wo...

A pleasant surprise.. at first.

William Morgan, Amazon
15 December 2012
  • Summary: AFTER THREE DAYS HEAVY USE Disclaimer: Regardless of my issues, I am not changing my four star review. The more time I spend using it, the more I find to like about it. If I give more focus to it's flaws, it's only because they stood out in such high contrast to the intuitive flow and natural ergonomics. Honestly, this mouse deserves a Savu Reboot or SavuV2 because it is just so close to amazing.

It really is the King of mice

T. C. "Tread", Amazon
28 July 2012
  • Summary: I have spent more thousands of dollars on mice in the past two years. I have purchased the top mouse from every vendor. The number one issue with all of them is the accuracy, which none of the vendors advertise in their mice. The sensors with positive and negative acceleration, in my opinion, are flawed. Only two mice I have tried have the perfect sensor; Logitech G400 and the Roccat Savu.

So comfortable to use

MyKeyReviews, Amazon
25 March 2013
  • Summary: Unboxing this mouse was a real pleasure, not only was the packaging so suave, the initial glimpse of the product itself was very impressive; it has a lovely shape, the tone of black is superb and the braided cable was definitely a great bonus. Before connecting the mouse to the computer, I was curious to the different textures located around the mouse.

Fantastic mouse - but not for me

Andrew "impulsive gadget buyer", Amazon
28 February 2013
  • Summary: The Roccat Savu is a great gaming mouse. Being a regular gamer I was keen to see how it compares to my Logitech G500, which is similarly priced. Now before I continue I must add that a mouse is often a very personal item and one which may suit you, but not the next person. The mouse itself appears well built, with a nice long braided cable so it doesn't snag. You have the main left/right buttons, click wheel, and two thumb buttons and is designed for right handed use.

Caution: gamer at work...

techpuppy "in cyberspace no-one can hear you ..., Amazon
13 January 2013
  • Summary: Although I'm no hardcore gamer I do like to use some gaming peripherals on my computers - gaming mice and mouse pads have always seemed the best and most accurate, great for working in Photoshop or other graphics software as well as impromptu games sessions. So this Roccat Savu mouse should be perfect for me - it's obviously aimed at people who like the style and (some of) the customisation options of gaming mice but who don't need every bell and every whistle.
