Summary: Steel Series Siberia Frost v2 owners beware.
Pros: The mouse is SUPER comfortable. Very precise, very accurate, and overall the colors are just beautiful.
Cons: So, as an avid gamer, I own the Steel Series Siberia Frost v2 headset. Unfortunately, the ROCCAT drivers conflict with the steel series Engine drivers, and caused this mouse to NOT work AT ALL. It took me a little over an hour to figure out what the problem was. You need to uninstall the engine drivers in order for the mouse to work, and apparently, this has been a known issue for awhile now. As a company making gaming mice, I would expect ROCCAT to make sure their de...
Summary: Like I said in the cons the software lacked features that I would like to see, Like the ability to program the left and right mouse button, An auto fire macro or the ability to make one,Theres a lot of useless macros that most people would never use, But as a FPS shooter I feel it lacking.
Pros: Good hardware design, cool lights , comfortable ,
Cons: The software, Takes to long save, Lacks features I would like to see as a FPS player, Like the ability to program the left and right mouse button, Would like to see an autofire macro included or the ability to create one,, The price considering it's missing these features., The first one died after 5 mouses had to RMA it.
Summary: Mouse wheel broke after two weeks of use. Roccat is located in Europe if you buy this product i'd suggest you to buy the extended warranty with it if you want good and fast service from NCIX. Otherwise you will get none. I got it for christmas and it broke a couple of days after the 30 days warranty luckily NCIX accepted to replace it.
Summary: With my current low quality mouse pad, the Kone seems to be really unstable when moving, but works without a mouse pad (must do some investigation). Sometimes, the cursor will move itself. Build quality is decent, but seems too light for my likings. However, the driver is exceptionally good!
Pros: Great customization, Nice lighting, Comfortable
Summary: I have been using both Kone Pure mouse and Kone XTD and I should really point out what's good about Pure and what's not when compared with other mouse especially the XTD. Firstly, Kone pure is a small mouse. I felt cheap from the first touch too. If you have rather a big hand (say, a length from your wrist to the tip of your second (middle) finger is roughly 16cm), then there is a chance that your third finger gets hurt after a while of using it.
Summary: Well I usually go for Logitec when I'm buying a gaming mouse, this mouse works fine, its not remarkable though, I used a G5 and G7 mouse prior to this, both are still going strong (8 years I think for the G5) and I think that the next one will be another Logitec. RB.
Great mouse but ruined by an unrelaible click wheel
31 December 2013
Summary: I write this review after two years of use and endless issues with the click/scroll wheel on this mouse, which is a crying shame as the rest of the product is without fault, but tearing it apart to fix the issue only for it to recur a week or two later got annoying so I've switched to another brand. As far as manufacturer warranty is concerned.....
Summary: I really wanted to keep this mouse because it looks great! But, and it's a big but, very uncomfortable. Also, for me the to Middle wheel causes finger to hurt and this transfers up the arm. Result more pain. So, back to the drawing board.
Summary: Can't get on with it, the casing is just too smooth so I can't keep a good grip. The side buttons have no distinguishing feel to them and it's not easy to reach the forward button, hitting the wrong one is too easy. The software however, is the best I've used. As far as overall fit to my hand is concerned... the logitech g700 is far better for me.
Summary: I wouldn't consider myself tall 5'6 but my hands where too small for this mouse which ment that my little finger would rub on the join between the mouse and the LED strip down the right hand side which was VERY uncomfortable. I did end up sending it back but apart from the fact it was too large for me, It was a good, awesome looking mouse. Did its job well too.
