Not Worth the Cost

Stephen L., Newegg
13 February 2015
  • Summary: The RMA process is disappointing, as other have noted. I don't have much to add to what others have said about the poor durability and poor customer support over at Razer. People who give this device 5 eggs have done so because theirs hasn't failed yet, because it's worth 5 eggs before it fails.
  • Pros: Great mouse when it works. I couldn't be happier with its functional performance.
  • Cons: This device lacks the kind of durability and support I would expect of a product that costs this much. I paid full price for this thing on Razer's own website, and for that, I got a great mouse that didn't survive the warranty period. Two months before the manufacturer's warranty expiration, the ...

They break easily

Tony G., Newegg
13 February 2015
  • Summary: I would recommend Logitech products if you're looking for long lasting gadgets.
  • Pros: If you want to be great in MMO's then this is the mouse for you. When it works its the best on the market due to all the buttons.
  • Cons: I've owned two of these mouses. The first one I turned in after a few months due to double clicking issues. Then the next one lasted me a litle longer but now its having right clicker mouse problems. It comes lose in game when holding it down to turn. They don't make things these days to last long.

Poor design

MICHAEL M., Newegg
18 August 2014
  • Summary: The Razer people have failed simply put, lack of thought of placement and ergonomics adjustment for the different sizes of hands for the series players. It is a great disappointment to see this from Razer.
  • Pros: Able to program and many buttons and other features
  • Cons: Buttons, no feed back for which button you are pressing placement to close to bottom, size are too small, some are hard to find and angle difficult to get easily, bottoms button pressing making movement rubbing thumb against mouse pad . Design ergonomics, thumb and two last fingers are not lifted...

Broke, warranty refused

David S., Newegg
22 April 2014
  • Summary: I wouldn't be writing this review if Razer simply accepted my inside-two-year warranty request. Or maybe if I hadn't had to RMA the mouse pretty much the day I got it for doubleclicking as well. And now it's doing it again. Listen to the internet. It's not just "happening to other people".
  • Pros: Highly accurate, runs well on any non-translucent surface, glides well, precision buttons* (read cons), tons of side buttons, braided-covered cable never tangled, wired/wireless operation convenient for using as media center, glow effect is gorgeous. Remapping buttons was easy* (read cons related...
  • Cons: Had to RMA the day it arrived for doubleclicking, the new one turns 2yrs old in August 2014 and it's doing it again. Razer warranty service seems to deliberately attempt to annoy the customer out of RMA. Inconsistent RMA behavior with various retailers (discovering on impact that their relationsh...

  • Summary: Such an awesome mouse, I bought my first one when they first came out I love Razer products but I am never buying this mouse again.
  • Pros: Awesome mouse, useful, good battery, great feel.
  • Cons: DOES NOT LAST AND THE LASER GOES OUT. I HAVE HAD TWO AND NOW I HAVE TWO BROKEN ONES.

How the mighty have fallen

Daniel L., Newegg
13 March 2014
  • Summary: I first had my original RMA'd through Newegg, but the second had the same problem. I then got one from a local retailer, same problem. Each time I conversed extensively with Razer support, and each time they determined the mouse was defective.
  • Pros: Good weight, feels solid, programmable lighting, programmable buttons.
  • Cons: Wireless problems. I have gone through 4 of these mice and had the EXACT same problem on multiple machines. The mouse works great in wireless mode at first, then about 30 minutes to 1 hour of use (sometimes sooner), the wireless will start to misbehave. It will essentially hang up or pause on you...

Not worth the price

Jake S., Newegg
13 February 2014
  • Summary: This is probably the most comfortable mouse I've ever had. The buttons never failed on me and it still works despite having some pretty hard falls three years into its life. However, it's still a razer.
  • Pros: Comfortable with multiple rests for ring and pinky finger in-box Twelve thumb keys Customizable color palette Sturdy
  • Cons: Wireless lasted about six weeks before crapping out and skipping Razer customer support Razer software support

Room for improvement

Vaughn D., Newegg
11 September 2013
  • Pros: Lots of buttons - for games like DOTA2 and League of Legends and it's really nice to have a separate hand to trigger items and abilities with when it works, it feels smooth and sexy like most razer products wired/wireless mode with a tail you can plug in to either the charging dock or directly to...
  • Cons: razer synapse is slow and buggy - I'm seriously disappointed with the overall app and user experience DPI not stored in the hardware like it was in the DeathAdder so you must log in to a machine with your synapse account if you want to ensure your DPI settings come back the DPI configurator is us...

Second time...

Jacob M., Newegg
19 July 2013
  • Pros: The mouse is absolutely fantastic when it works, the keys are fully customizable and the layout and fact that it's ergonomically friendly with the swappable sides is very nice.
  • Cons: This is the second Razer Naga that I've bought that the left click broke. The mouse still moves on the screen and

Nice if or when it owrks

Robert H., Newegg
20 June 2013
  • Summary: I went through three of these before giving up and going to Logitech's wired MMO mouse. The first mouse kept dropping wireless connections. I sent it back to Razer (Razer support is horrible, btw) and they send me a new one. The new one didn't work over wireless at all.
  • Pros: Great feel / /ergo, braided cable.
  • Cons: Quality is terrible.
