Not Worth the Cost

Stephen L., Newegg
13 February 2015
  • Summary: The RMA process is disappointing, as other have noted. I don't have much to add to what others have said about the poor durability and poor customer support over at Razer. People who give this device 5 eggs have done so because theirs hasn't failed yet, because it's worth 5 eggs before it fails.
  • Pros: Great mouse when it works. I couldn't be happier with its functional performance.
  • Cons: This device lacks the kind of durability and support I would expect of a product that costs this much. I paid full price for this thing on Razer's own website, and for that, I got a great mouse that didn't survive the warranty period. Two months before the manufacturer's warranty expiration, the ...

They break easily

Tony G., Newegg
13 February 2015
  • Summary: I would recommend Logitech products if you're looking for long lasting gadgets.
  • Pros: If you want to be great in MMO's then this is the mouse for you. When it works its the best on the market due to all the buttons.
  • Cons: I've owned two of these mouses. The first one I turned in after a few months due to double clicking issues. Then the next one lasted me a litle longer but now its having right clicker mouse problems. It comes lose in game when holding it down to turn. They don't make things these days to last long.

  • Pros: I've been using Razer game booster for a long time now and it honestly made my gaming experience all the more worthwhile. It hasn't been long since i bought my first razer product the razer blackwidow gaming keyboard! When i first bought it i couldn't find any flaw with it!!!! I was so happy and ...

The Slithering Beauty

Anonymous, Newegg
27 January 2015
  • Summary: I would say get epic chroma rather than most of razer mouses unless you're strictly playing a simple game. The side buttons can help browsing much easier. If you take the time to dedicate to the side buttons, it will grow into a fruitful tree.
  • Pros: The 12 buttons helps my gaming a lot, even though it makes my left fingers lazier, it now utilizes my right thumb in gaming. (Dota2) The colors are beautiful when you're not using it. I'm using a laptop and mostly read articles, reviews or stories. Seeing Epic Chroma sit there on it's stand, glim...
  • Cons: The numpad takes A LOT OF TIME TO ADJUST. It's been a month and I still haven't developed muscle memory to use these 1-12 buttons without feeling them. It took me like 2 weeks to get used to my Naga Hex but the Epic Chroma is much more complicated. Wish there were more differentiations between th...

Syanpse is Horrible

Brian B., Newegg
14 October 2014
  • Pros: Comfortable mouse, variety of colors, cool looking
  • Cons: Razer Synapse is horrible. You are forced to create a Razer profile and connect to the internet to change any settings on your mouse. Not only that, but there's no freakin apply button. You just have to sit and wait or totally disconnect and reconnect your mouse any time you want to change anythi...

  • Summary: Long story short. If you like to play any MMO, I recommend this mouse. Grid for macro's, extremely responsive, good ergonomics for those that game for extensive amounts of time. If you're looking for a mouse that doesn't have so many macro's, or find them useless in most situations I would recommend...
  • Pros: Let me start off by saying this mouse aesthetics are very pleasing to the eye. This piece of technology is definitely thoroughly thought out and gamer oriented. I have owned this specific mouse for about 1 year and 5 months and it has all but minor cord fraying. I can confidently say this mouse w...
  • Cons: *Yes this mouse is ergonomic, has flashy lighting, has an aggressive look, and an overwhelming amount of programmable buttons... But could you at least make the mouse buttons have a tad bit more actuation force? **For gaming, this mouse is what I'd call decent. It gets the job done, and adds styl...

Poor design

MICHAEL M., Newegg
18 August 2014
  • Summary: The Razer people have failed simply put, lack of thought of placement and ergonomics adjustment for the different sizes of hands for the series players. It is a great disappointment to see this from Razer.
  • Pros: Able to program and many buttons and other features
  • Cons: Buttons, no feed back for which button you are pressing placement to close to bottom, size are too small, some are hard to find and angle difficult to get easily, bottoms button pressing making movement rubbing thumb against mouse pad . Design ergonomics, thumb and two last fingers are not lifted...

Missy D., Newegg
18 July 2014
  • Summary: I do like this mouse but it just not worth this price....
  • Pros: I love the way it fits in my hand, quality is decent as well. Looks epic is well!
  • Cons: Razer synapse is really buggy, doesnt like to run and many other things. I really like the idea of synapse but its not made well at all. Operating wireless, and it would disconnect for a bout a second but reconnect after, but that was fixed. Changing from wireless to wired is sorta hard imo... Wh...
