Great Feel; Bad Line of Sight and Battery

Ryan S., Newegg
22 April 2015
  • Pros: Fast and smooth; comfortable on hand; clicking is easy
  • Cons: If you let battery drain the mouse seems not to work for a long, long time. Battery life is seriously low. I can't go more than a day without putting back on charger. Perhaps that is the limitation for having such high DPI. Line of sight: my mouse pad sits about a half-inch down in a food tray, a...

I Love/Hate it!

CyberGolem, Amazon
10 April 2015
  • Summary: Although my review of this mouse is slightly negative, I'm not trying to discourage anyone from purchasing it. I'm simply providing my experience for discerning consumers who may or may not find my experience with this product useful. I bought it for its scroll wheel stability.

It works untill it doesn't

vicki d., Newegg
1 April 2015
  • Summary: When this mouse works it is awesome. it would be an excellent mouse for a designer or gamer.... if they can make it work. Not sure about the docking station, It seems odd that a premium gaming mouse would need a external 3inx3in docking station for wireless communication.
  • Pros: This is a very nice mouse, comfortable, smooth scrolling, and a great feel. I like the option to use the mouse with or without a wire.
  • Cons: Doesn't work after drivers are installed... At first I was using this mouse in default mode, with no Razer software or drivers installed. It worked great... Then we installed the software, now nothing works except for the colors. Wire or no wire the mouse is dead. Battery is good, connection is g...

High Price, Low Quality

Alan Hardman, Amazon
9 September 2014
  • Summary: I really expected more from a mouse this expensive. The Synapse 2.0 software is horrible, never remembering lighting settings or sensitivity levels. Also, the scroll wheel clicks much more loudly than the previous version. Update: got a replacement, and it's worse than the previous one.

Great for a short period of time

Gavin C., Newegg
24 August 2014
  • Summary: If you don't mind not being able to use the wireless feature, then go ahead and buy the mouse and just throw away the charging dock. It's still a nice feeling ergonomic mouse and you can set the wheel to glow any color you want.
  • Pros: -The mouse has one of the most comfortable ergonomic feels of any mouse that I've ever owned. -The custom color for the lighting allowing literally any color you want was a fantastic feature. -When it was functioning properly, the battery had a respectable long lasting charge and it was nice havi...
  • Cons: For the first four months, everything was great. Even though Razer had let me down with several disappointing keyboards (I reviewed those on youtube if you're interested) I was quite happy with this mouse. I originally had the Razer Deathadder and enjoyed its feel, but I wanted wireless and I did...

Nice, but garbage software

Anonymous, Newegg
20 July 2014
  • Summary: This is not worth the extra $30-$40 bucks for wireless, just get a wired one and be done with it.
  • Pros: Nice, comfortable mouse with nice lighting, gets the job done.
  • Cons: GARBAGE wireless, turns off randomly during gaming, SOFTWARE is absolute garbage, changes my dpi every time i turn off the computer even after i save the profile

Good concept, but lacking & failed on me

Brett L., Newegg
18 June 2014
  • Pros: Comfortable design, good dpi, responsive, accurate, wireless, lightweight, and full of other features like color changing. The mouse is only these things when it wants to be now. When the mouse is working, it gets the two stars.
  • Cons: After about 6 months, the padding/grips on the sides of the mouse and the bottom started peeling off and sliding around. A little crazy glue fixed that problem. But that's the smallest of the issues. After a year to about a year and a half of use, the mouse started disconnecting randomly from the...

Disappointing

Paul W., Newegg
27 May 2014
  • Summary: This is just a preference issue, but I didn't like that there is nowhere to rest my thumb on the left side of the mouse (as a righty). My thumb got tired of being held up all the time, until I starting resting it on the desk and sliding it around with the mouse, which wasn't super comfortable...
  • Pros: The mouse is accurate and has a good medium weight to it (not too heavy like many wireless mice).
  • Cons: It died on me after 3 months of use, but I didn't try to replace it because I was ready to go back to my old mouse anyway. The battery life is pretty poor and I found myself leaving it plugged in all the time to avoid it dying on me in the middle of gaming. The mouse also got sticky all by itself...

Highly disappointing

Justin Palmer, Amazon
24 April 2014
  • Summary: All the fancy features of this mouse do not make up for its blatant shoddiness. Pros: I bought this mouse despite the poor reviews because the button configuration is ideal. The two side buttons are placed very nicely, and they are big and thus easy to press.
