Great Feel; Bad Line of Sight and Battery

Ryan S., Newegg
22 April 2015
  • Pros: Fast and smooth; comfortable on hand; clicking is easy
  • Cons: If you let battery drain the mouse seems not to work for a long, long time. Battery life is seriously low. I can't go more than a day without putting back on charger. Perhaps that is the limitation for having such high DPI. Line of sight: my mouse pad sits about a half-inch down in a food tray, a...

Best Mouse ever

Rebecca B., Newegg
22 April 2015
  • Summary: I'm really, really upset that Synapse bricked my Mamba. However, scouring forums and vids I've seen this happen 1000x to owners of Razer products and I just don't know if I'm going to take a chance on getting another Razer product. I love them. Their fantastic mice. No doubt.
  • Pros: Long battery life, Ability to charge while playing, Nice ergonomic design, great grip, Really nice tracking, etc. I'll be point blank honest. The Razer Mamba is one of the best mice I've ever owned. I have the pre-2012 version and this mouse just lasted for thousands of hours of pc gaming. My old...
  • Cons: Like i said previously, the latest update to Synapse 2.0 bricked my older version Mamba. No matter what I try it just won't track any longer. The buttons are STILL in mint working order. Very clicky and nice. Lights still work like a champ and the mouse just still performs very well, just no long...

Do not buy, ever.

Amos S., Newegg
18 April 2015
  • Summary: Support was ultimately unhelpful. This was very frustrating considering this mouse costs more than 100 dollars, and fails very quickly. This will most likely be the last razer product I buy.
  • Pros: I have owned two razer mambas, one normal and one 2012 version. The tracking is amazing when it works, and the comfort in a larger hand is unmatched. When it was working, this is my favorite mouse of all time.
  • Cons: The driver software and firmware updates are absolutely terrible, and make the mouse unusable. After having it working for about a month, it quit tracking completely. Mouse buttons respond, but tracking does not. After communicating with support, I received the same response of "Flash firmware, r...

I Love/Hate it!

CyberGolem, Amazon
10 April 2015
  • Summary: Although my review of this mouse is slightly negative, I'm not trying to discourage anyone from purchasing it. I'm simply providing my experience for discerning consumers who may or may not find my experience with this product useful. I bought it for its scroll wheel stability.

Gave it the benefit of the doubt

JOSEPH R., Newegg
8 April 2015
  • Summary: I've always been partial to Logitech mice over the years, and again this product has reminded me why. In comparison with the G700(I own 2) this is simply an inferior product in most every way. The only thing this thing has going for it, is it's stylish glowing lights, and battery life.
  • Pros: -Aesthetically Pleasing -Comfortable -Excellent Battery Life! -Accurate When Plugged In
  • Cons: -Connection drops out intermittently in wireless mode for 1-2 seconds when playing games, seems more frequent in FPS games. -Terrible for all day gaming, when battery is about out, you must disconnect the hub, re-route cable to mouse. total joke compared to my Logitech G700. Razer needs to learn ...

It works untill it doesn't

vicki d., Newegg
1 April 2015
  • Summary: When this mouse works it is awesome. it would be an excellent mouse for a designer or gamer.... if they can make it work. Not sure about the docking station, It seems odd that a premium gaming mouse would need a external 3inx3in docking station for wireless communication.
  • Pros: This is a very nice mouse, comfortable, smooth scrolling, and a great feel. I like the option to use the mouse with or without a wire.
  • Cons: Doesn't work after drivers are installed... At first I was using this mouse in default mode, with no Razer software or drivers installed. It worked great... Then we installed the software, now nothing works except for the colors. Wire or no wire the mouse is dead. Battery is good, connection is g...

Not the best, not the worst

Jason T., Newegg
29 March 2015
  • Summary: Overall the mouse is fine. Plain and simple it is fine. Feels like my old Death Adder by Razer, but the performance just isn't quite there. Also the wireless docking station is set in the open, about 4 feet away maybe.
  • Pros: Adjustable, on the fly mouse sensitivity is nice, the overall feel is very nice, button placement and all is very nice. Being able to be wireless or tethered to a cord is another bonus, along with making the docking / wireless station change to whatever color you desire (or rainbow!) is very nice...
  • Cons: The wireless... Sometimes the mouse is a perfect gaming mouse, does what I want when I want.... Other times the mouse loses its connection for... about 3-5 seconds until it gets its signal back and resumes functionality. I have a logitech 310 mouse, not great for gaming but the wireless never cut...

Don't buy razer stuff

maximiliano g., Newegg
22 December 2014
  • Pros: when it works, it's good weight, size and buttons are awesomely placed.
  • Cons: 5 years ownership total. Used for 3. Had several issues with it. Mouse button clicking twice instead of 1 by itself on random occasions. The tracking skipping. The tracking lagging. The customer support telling me to screw myself regardless of all the issues. After I shipped it to them once, and ...
