Summary: Time will tell how this version stand up.
Pros: Good construction, just like the first version I had, which lasted five or so years. From the last model to this one, the only thing different that I can FEEL between the two are the fact that the shell is made up of a more plastic-type feeling than the original version, which had a nice sticky n...
Cons: More of a plastic-like feel than previous generation. Feels a little light, compared to another mouse I've used, but it just takes a little time to get used to it - no big deal, actually.
Summary: My brother had bought the Razer Imperator when it first came out and I really liked it for my gaming hobby and when Razer came out with the dual sensor one, I just said eh why not and bought it.
Pros: Great Mouse, very responsive for all your gaming needs and the on-the-fly sensitivity changing is very handy for when I am playing either a strategy game or a first person shooter. The ability to be able to lift off the mousepad and still be moving the cursor was a nice touch but did take some tw...
Cons: NONE!!!! EDIT: 3/29/2016 After 5 years of usage I can honestly say 0 Cons.
Opposite of "Set it and Forget it" This mouse MAY have benifits for gamers, but none for regular users, but instead FLAWS

Summary: So I'm going on about 3 days of use and am thoroughly unimpressed.. With Razer's software issues. Yes, Software issues. For those of you expecting a simple plug and play mouse,.. so far,. This (nor any Razer ) is not it.
Summary: I bought the Razer Imperator back when I was relatively new to PC gaming. My friend who helped me get more into the scene was a fan of Razer's products, so I thought it'd be worth a shot to try one of their mouses for myself.
Summary: Upgraded from an original Razer Death Adder. Man, did I miss this shape of mouse. Much easier to handle and make small adjustment lifts off the mousepad than the Death Adder. This is all you need in a mouse (can even do without the two buttons below the scroll wheel).
Summary: Don't waste your money! Don't get me wrong, this is one of the best gaming mouse I ever had, actually I own two and both of them broke in the same place, it's a design flaw!, the plastic that transfer the energy to the left and right click is too thin. Shame on you RAZER! >: (
Summary: First of all, this mouse is a beauty. The bulk of it is a sort of mottled matte grey, with the Razer logo appearing black when the internal light is inactive. When you do turn the light on, it pulses, which I was not expecting.
