  • Summary: I try out alot of mice and this one had to be one of my favorites. I love the braided cable covering. One of the buttons is a little stiff but not very annoying. Overall great mouse from Razer.
  • Pros: Love the rubber feel. The buttons are smooth
  • Cons: Shape takes some getting used to.

  • Summary: The previous iteration of the Razer Deathadder was a very well regarded mouse, even today. There weren't any huge flaws with the design, so Razer decided to upgrade the sensor and re-release it. It has a very nice matte black finish on the mouse, making it nice to use for extended periods. The ergonomic design with the rubber pads on the two sides give your thumb and pinky a place to sit which adds to the comfort.
  • Pros: One of the best sensors on the market, Ergonomic design, Very nice cable sleeving
  • Cons: Can't change colour of mouse lighting, You must use Razer's Synapse software if you want to use the drivers

  • Summary: It's a very good mouse, but the right click is a bit light (easy to press) so if you palm grip that mouse you may (like me) occidentally right click from time to time. Other than that, it's a really good mouse, I like the feel of it.
  • Pros: Very smooth, precise
  • Cons: right click bit light

It's a mouse. It's comfortable.

  • Summary: It works as advertised. I'm not a terribly huge fan of the synapse 2.0 software you have to use to get it to work as advertised, but once you set the sensitivity to where it feels generally good, you can fiddle around with the sensitivity settings in your games to perfect everything without messing with the synapse stuff anymore. Great mouse, not great software running it. If synapse was more user friendly this would be 5 stars easy.

  • Summary: I wouldn't recommend it unless you are a heavy gamer. Beware that the mouse gets dirty and dusty easily.
  • Pros: Fully customizable, on-the-fly sensitivity switch, great for gaming.
  • Cons: Easily gets dirty, rather expensive, takes time to get used to the shape.

The Razer Deathadder and this may be the best wired mouse you can buy

matthew takach, Amazon

  • Summary: I'm really picky about the mouse I use, like insanely picky. I stuck with an old Microsoft mouse for almost a decade because I can't stand the way most mice feel in my hand or the the way their buttons work. Now those days are over because I've been using the Razer Deathadder and this may be the best wired mouse you can buy. First off all the ergonomics are top notch.

Problems and no response from Razer

JD, TigerDirect.com
12 December 2013
  • Summary: I had unresolved problems with this product. Mostly it seemed to be the drivers Razer provided. The mouse cursor movement was unpredictable and jitters around the screen. I'm not a noob with this stuff and I tried everything to eliminate the problems, including a lot of online problem searches. An updated driver improved things, but didn't eliminate the issues. I tried to contact Razor twice and never received any response or acknowledgement.
