The Razer Death Adder, which measures 2.8 x 1.7 x 5 inches (W x H x D), features an ergonomic right-handed design. It possesses a smooth rubber coated matte black enclosure with illuminated blue accents.
The mouse offers five buttons equipped with Razer’s Hyperesponse technology. These ultra-large non-slip buttons are independently programmable. When used with its default settings, the DeathAdder has the standard left and right mouse buttons, the vertical scroll wheel, and the forward and back thumb buttons. This wired mouse has a seven-foot, lightweight non-tangle cord that ends in a gold-plated USB connector.
Apart from these, the DeathAdder comes with Razer’s trademark zero-acoustic Ultraslick Teflon feet. This allows it to glide smoothly over gaming surfaces. Among the other Razer trademarks that the DeathAdder is equipped with include On-The-Fly Sensitivity adjustment and the Always-On mode.
Razer’s included software driver allows users to change the DeathAdder’s overall sensitivity settings. It also customizes other settings such as X and Y axis amendment, acceleration, and Windows mouse speed. It also allows users to turn Razer’s Glow-Logo on or off.
See lessI once again have the pleasure of reviewing another new mouse from the fine folks at Razer, this time we are going to be reviewing their newest version called the "Death Adder". While most of use would not care to wrap our hands around a Death (Adder) Viper, thankfully this Viper is has large Teflon feet to help it glide across the surface. So without further delay let take a look at the newest addition to the Razer arsenal. Read more
When you focus exclusively on a single market, it's in your best interest to listen to that demographic, and that's exactly what Razer has done. Gone are the uncomfortably low profile buttons and awkward ambidextrous design as found on Razer's previous mice. In their place, the DeathAdder utilizes a traditional curvatious arch with a shape that favors right-handers. Lefties will cry foul at the new design, but hey, we hear Ned Flanders' Leftorium might start... Read more
It's a very good mouse. It might have been even better, but let's hope that such improvements will appear in future products. You should consider buying this mouse, if you liked your Explorer product and are now looking for a replacement. But don't rush things, we'll soon review another interesting product from the same family. Read more
After hearing all these players saying it’s the best mouse to buy ... well, personally I think it is. If you are thinking to buy a new mouse, then the Razer Deathadder could be a good choice. It maybe a bit pricey, but once you see the capability of this mouse and what it can do for your gaming experience, then money you have spent is well worth it. Razer DeathAdder with its ergonomic right-handed design and its 3G infrared sensor, shows that it is a good choice... Read more
We love the shape of this mouse—it’s comfortable for even the longest session—and the DeathAdder just gets better from there. The sensor delivers pixel-perfect accuracy, and we love that the driver lets us adjust everything from X and Y sensitivity to the lights on the mouse. We’re still not sold on the idea of constantly updating firmware for a mere mouse, but Razer’s built a highly compelling rodent with the DeathAdder. Read more
I upgraded from an old (pre 3g) Diamondback that had been used so much that a short had developed in the cord. I am pleased with the upgrade and very satisfied. That said, a few differences between the DA and DB should be noted. The DeathAdder is very full-bodied in comparison to the Diamondback which instead has a low nimble feeling. This mouse easily fills my palm. As such, it is a bit more friendly to gamers that enjoy taking hold of the mouse rather than using the... Read more

I've never actually used the DPI switching on my MX518, either. It takes me long enough to "learn" how a mouse moves on only ONE sensitivity, I can't be bothered with learning three :3 Read more
I have this mouse for 2 weeks. It's great for the money I've paid. Also, I don't have any issues with mouse software on my motherboard which is nForce 550. Mouse is especially good for FPS games like Call of Duty 4. You won't regret if you buy this little gem. Read more
PRO- This mouse is absolutely brilliant as far as comfort (especially for those of you palm or fingertip grip style fans... yes I can actually fingertip grip this thing despite its size). It's big and light and that's a great thing even for someone like me who came from (and very much liked) a tiny and heavy mouse. It has a very nice shape to it which appeals to both sight and touch, as does it's perfectly rubberized surface (it's silky smooth, soft, and yet firm... If... Read more
