The Razer Death Adder, which measures 2.8 x 1.7 x 5 inches (W x H x D), features an ergonomic right-handed design. It possesses a smooth rubber coated matte black enclosure with illuminated blue accents.
The mouse offers five buttons equipped with Razer’s Hyperesponse technology. These ultra-large non-slip buttons are independently programmable. When used with its default settings, the DeathAdder has the standard left and right mouse buttons, the vertical scroll wheel, and the forward and back thumb buttons. This wired mouse has a seven-foot, lightweight non-tangle cord that ends in a gold-plated USB connector.
Apart from these, the DeathAdder comes with Razer’s trademark zero-acoustic Ultraslick Teflon feet. This allows it to glide smoothly over gaming surfaces. Among the other Razer trademarks that the DeathAdder is equipped with include On-The-Fly Sensitivity adjustment and the Always-On mode.
Razer’s included software driver allows users to change the DeathAdder’s overall sensitivity settings. It also customizes other settings such as X and Y axis amendment, acceleration, and Windows mouse speed. It also allows users to turn Razer’s Glow-Logo on or off.

Razor has made significant improvements over their earlier line of gaming mice, with the DeathAdder . It’s definitely the best-looking mouse in Razer’s line-up with its rubberized surface, blue-illuminated click-wheel and pulsating Razer logo. Killer looks may impress at LAN parties or make your desk look like a million bucks—but they don’t win games or make them more comfortable or enjoyable to play. Fortunately, the DeathAdder can back up its looks with its... Read more
If you’re a gamer and want a comfortable mouse, the DeathAdder will serve you well but our advice is to just plug in the DeathAdder and don’t even bother with the software. It’s a hassle to get it to work, and then it’s a hassle to have to open a software utility to change the mouse’s sensitivity. We’ve been living with this feature (DPI switching) on our Logitech mouse for the past few years, and having to use software to do the same thing just feels old... Read more
After hearing all these players saying it’s the best mouse to buy ... well, personally I think it is. If you are thinking to buy a new mouse, then the Razer Deathadder could be a good choice. It maybe a bit pricey, but once you see the capability of this mouse and what it can do for your gaming experience, then money you have spent is well worth it. Razer DeathAdder with its ergonomic right-handed design and its 3G infrared sensor, shows that it is a good choice... Read more
The Razer DeathAdder mouse does give up a few dpi compared to the Copperhead series, but with the 3rd gen infrared tracking you do not notice it and well quite frankly it is much better. I found that the control of the DeathAdder was much better than my trusted G5 mouse; man that was hard to say as I really like that mouse. After a few practice games in COD2 while trying to dial in the settings I was ready to take on the younger and faster players than me. I felt that I... Read more
We love the shape of this mouse—it’s comfortable for even the longest session—and the DeathAdder just gets better from there. The sensor delivers pixel-perfect accuracy, and we love that the driver lets us adjust everything from X and Y sensitivity to the lights on the mouse. We’re still not sold on the idea of constantly updating firmware for a mere mouse, but Razer’s built a highly compelling rodent with the DeathAdder. Read more
Very responsive. Teflon feet are very smooth, not perfect, but nice glide over my steelseries pad. Mouse wheel has some resistance so no accidental scroll's when clicking the wheel as a button. The two thumb located buttons are a good size and nicely positioned, easy to click. The pulsing razer logo is kinda trippy lol. Read more
I have the Razer Copperhead mouse and i have been very satisfied with it. I am a little disapointed to learn that this version doesnt have on-the-fly since that is a HUGLY helpful part of the mouse... Read more

I have this mouse for 2 weeks. It's great for the money I've paid. Also, I don't have any issues with mouse software on my motherboard which is nForce 550. Mouse is especially good for FPS games like Call of Duty 4. You won't regret if you buy this little gem. Read more
