Summary: First, I bought this because it was supposed to be incredibly comfortable and smooth. I was looking for a smooth scroll wheel and this is stiff and hard to turn. Actually started giving me a callus on my finger and then after a week, the click would not work for the first 5min after turning on my computer every time. My previous $15.00 mouse lasted 10 years, was smoother and never had a problem till I spilled coffee on it.
Summary: Mouse was DOA. I couldn't Click/ Right Click for 2-3 minutes after an additional USB device was plugged in. I Tried it on many different computers and multiple ports on every computer. There were not USB extenders used. It would be wonderful when it wasn't screwed up. Glides smoothly and is very precise. Here's where the horror story begins... I contacted support about 2-3 days after I opened the package. They had me dancing around issues for weeks.
Summary: Pros: Good looking mouse until you know what happened with me Cons: I received my item today and it turns out it has a hardware issue, this mouse is dead, it doesnt work AT ALL, the bottom light (infrared) is not on. I will see what i can do by returning this item to amazon or wait till next day, some says its only an electrical issue and it will be solved by itself after a while (who knows). I don't recommend anyone to buy this mouse.
Summary: Firstly why design a Left handed mouse that requires you change or swop the buttons over in mouse settings?? I purchased this Left handed mouse and have used it for quite a long time esp in Fps gaming. The lead is terrible and can pull the mouse. To add it kinks up and seems to heavy. Also their is no side grip which can be come very annoying during gaming, traction on sides to firmly secure mouse could be useful.
Summary: I bought this mouse again, as my old one was left behind when I was abroad. This time however it simply does not work as it should, or used too. It is impossible to install the Razer Synapse 2.0 software, it crashes everytime I try. It does however install its own drivers to make it operate. However! It is impossible to select the left mouse button to operate as a left mouse button. I like most left handers use the mouse buttons the same as most right handers.
Summary: As I do a lot of online gaming I thought this would be great for me, especially left handed too! I was wrong. Even though this is a left handed mouse after using a right handed for so long I thought the basics would be the same, left button for menu, right button for right click, and just the design was changed to fit the comfort of a left handed person.
Summary: After installing the drivers in osx I began having issues with the mouse powering off after a few minutes of COD4. I updated the firmware and now it will only register for 10 seconds before becoming completely unresponsive. Reading forums it is evident that their firmware updates are extremely unreliable.
Summary: I was looking forward to getting this but ultimately I was dissapointed. Over packaged.......too many bits of paper and plastic. Loads of money spent on presentation but "trendy" graphics are no substitute for good communication. Id rather have a single readable black on white leaflet that was understandable....than loads of bits of trendy black squares packaged like a box of chocolates .
Summary: (System: Windows 7, 64 bit new computer) No driver CD with mouse. Per instruction manual, driver to be downloaded from Razer's website. Downloaded driver, created a system restore point and installed. System reboot required. Rebooted and Windows crashed. Rebooted again - Windows says driver is not certified. Removed mouse, uninstalled driver, restored system.
