So, here we have the first laser mouse from Razer and we are pretty impressed with it. The Copperhead looks sexy and the mouse even has a heartbeat that’ll surely turn heads. With up to 7 individual programmable buttons, it offers ease of customization according to your taste. The buttons were efficiently placed and the side buttons doesn’t get into the way anymore. If the side buttons somehow distracts your gameplay, simply disable it via the driver panel. Read more

The folks at Razer have carved a niche for themselves in the PC gaming market. And what an excellent choice for specialization; virtually every PC gamer needs a mouse. For several years they have attempted to entice their target demographic with high quality mice designed for gamers by gamers. And, in most cases, they hit the mark and often set the standard. But, this is not one of those times. The Copperhead features a well-designed laser engine. Read more

    • Looks cool, On-the-fly DPI resolution and sensitivity switching, Onboard memory stores up to 5 different user profiles, VERY sensitive thanks to 2,000 DPI resolution
    • Button placement, Too small for my comfort, Mouse ergonomics have not evolved since Diamondback

When the best keeps getting better, there are fewer and fewer words to describe a product, but with the Copperhead the best has now become a milestone in product development. The crew at Razer has simply made one of the best input devices money can buy. The Copperhead is user friendly, easily configurable and packed with features not previously found on gaming input devices. Read more

The Copperhead fits the into the mold of being an evolution and not a revolution. It is a substantial improvement over the Diamondback, particularly with the Copperhead using the latest advanced laser sensor available instead of outdated infrared technology. The overall feel (both physically in the hand and during gameplay/Windows use) is better than the Diamondback in relatively small ways but big enough that I don't want to go back to my Diamondback at all. First of all, I just want anyone who read this review to know that I am a hardcore FPS gamer that plays at the very least 2 hours per day. I play anything from CS Source, Modern Warfare 2, Black Ops, Bioshock 2, Rainbow Six Vegas 2, Bad Company 2 and other FPS games. Hopefully this can give you a picture of how I use the mouse to its maximum potential, not just using it for browsing or playing Facebook games. Read more

*Because every good boy deserves lasers* My current laptop has been on the go for almost three years and when I first purchased it I made the decision to purchase a very good mouse for it. I'm an avid fan of PC gaming and while I tend to stick to what I like, I've always found a decent mouse to be essential to the enjoyment of a good gaming session. There's nothing more annoying for a gamer than the irritation caused by a 'sticky' or unresponsive mouse. Read more

A little light and small for my hands, but overall an extremely responsive and fast mouse. More weight and a slightly larger body might have made this a real winner for me. Read more
