Doesn't Last

Amazon Customer, Amazon
29 January 2015
  • Summary: I purchased and began using the mouse in April of 2014. 6 Months into use, the soft pad of the scroll wheel became slightly loose and cause the wheel to stop turning. I had the cut the soft pad off of the scroll wheel. Now, 9 months into use, the left mouse button has begun to malfunction.

Unreliable Product

YAN V., Newegg
5 December 2013
  • Summary: I wasted a lot of money and now I have to buy a new mouse which I cannot afford. Warranty should be extended for a longer period of time.
  • Pros: Great Design Great Tracking Looks nice Feels good in hand
  • Cons: Started double clicking instead of single clicking when I click on something after about 1 year of use. Warranty is over so I am out of luck. This product was too expensive for what it is and how poor it's reliability and longevity is. Is you want a mouse that will last you a long time you can no...

Scroll wheel wears out after a year or so

Jared P., Amazon
28 November 2013
  • Summary: Nice mouse while it lasts. Unfortunately, after about a year of use, the scroll wheel is starting to become inconsistent and annoying. The buttons are pretty solid, I can see them lasting a lot longer. I have to retire this mouse though because the scroll wheel is just unusable at this point.

Not the best mouse ever

Matthew B., Newegg
24 August 2013
  • Pros: Looks very cool, good packaging.
  • Cons: The mouse isn't big enough if you ask me, it feels very cheep, and doesn't seem to respond very well but that may just be my mouse pad.

Mionix Mouse

JV, Amazon
10 April 2013
  • Summary: Pros on this mouse are: Looks cool Works Comfortable Cons: This is a horrible mouse. The tracking on it is soo good it makes the mouse not good. For example i play League of Legends and this mouse is horrible for this game. I literally have to lift the mouse over 1/2 inches before it stops tracking.

Lift off distance makes it unusable

Anonymous, Newegg
1 March 2013
  • Summary: i think this mouse has a much higher rating then it deserves. This is obvious when you read other reviews where people are saying they had to return it because the lift off distance made it unusable, then still giving it 4 stars.
  • Pros: -the mouse feels nice in the hand -the buttons right and left buttons feel great -middle click feels good
  • Cons: -the lift off distance is absurdly high. To put it in perspective, I was able to place the mouse 5 dvd's and have it still fully track, when I added the 6th dvd it was still tracking but it was a bit spotty. So even at 6 dvds it still tracked. -the dpi settings weren't customizable. if you desire...

Comfortable Mouse

Matt S., Newegg
31 December 2012
  • Summary: The mouse is great and very nice when it works. It doesn't seem to have a long life though, and the company will try to avoid or negate your warranty claims.
  • Pros: This is by far the most comfortable mouse I've ever used. I love the size and weight of it as well as the rubber finish.
  • Cons: The mouse stopped working just under a year after I purchased it. It has a year warranty, but I've had no luck getting in contact with Mionix. They will not respond to my multiple emails.

Decent mouse when it worked

Admir N., Newegg
4 October 2012
  • Summary: I should have stuck with someone more main brand for better driver support
  • Pros: -Three different DPI settings -Three different colors that correspond to a DPI level. The color correspondence can be changed with the software. -Nice feel for the hand -Middle mouse button feels very nice and clicks well
  • Cons: -Software is a piece of dirt and can sometimes mess with your DPI settings. It's only good for changing the colors. -Lack of driver support. Even the link in the software directed me to an error page. -As someone mentioned, it isn't 7 button customizable since two keys are for DPI -The mouse poin...

over all ok

Scott H., Newegg
21 September 2012
  • Summary: Over all its a ok mouse. but wish I at least saw this in a store to try it. had been a logitech mouse user for 10 years and had problems, wanted try something else. likely will go back logitech.
  • Pros: its feels very good in my hand. and worked right when plugged in.
  • Cons: Often when restarting computer, i have to replug it in to get it to power on. also software with it is 100% worthless, but it worked for most part with out drivers. also very light, maybe ive been spoiled by mice you can add weights to.

STAY AWAY

Dustin D., Newegg
3 July 2012
  • Summary: The software alone kills this product, stick to other companies so that you dont have to feel like you were nickel and dimed by Mionix
  • Pros: good ergonomics long braided usb cord
  • Cons: SOFTWARE IS HORRIBLE, had I known it was this bad I would not have bought this mouse there are no options in the software that allows you create /manage profiles. You have to manually open the program, and readjust all the settings as desired, ANNOYING. For a $50+ mouse you would think such a sim...
