LISTEN TO ME

Frank S., Newegg
2 February 2009
  • Summary: I don't understand how the computer gets "confused" by this mouse. Everything is installed, OS recognizes it, blue connection active... then POOF, no response from mouse. No explanation given... time to reinstall. It boggles the mind why this mouse is so broken in today's day and age.
  • Pros: When it works it makes a very good remote control for media playback.
  • Cons: Everything else. Serious range issues. Constantly bugging out requiring you to restart your PC AND completely reinstalling the software! I've tried this on multiple operating systems with different patches and it WILL ALWAYS BUG OUT. This is absolutely the most unreliable microsoft mouse I've eve...

Just not worth the money.

Lisa Swiger, Amazon
17 August 2007
  • Summary: I was thrilled when I first got this mouse and then my enthusiasm waned quickly. My major complaint was how fast it goes through batteries. I have spent more in AAA batteries in the past three months than I did on the mouse.

FAILURE

Amazon Customer "Maverick", Amazon

  • Summary: I was unable to install this Mouse as I had to leave on an overseas assignment. It has failed to install properly and the mouse does not stay on for more than about eight seconds when I turn on the power switch underneath, despite trying several pairs of batteries.

Amazon Customer, Amazon
4 August 2007
  • Summary: This device will not cope if you wish to present more than one slide in 5 minutes. It cannot keep pace with the far cheaper presenters available, and the mouse develops a random love of scrolling the powerpoint when it is left sationary on a desk unless the batteries are brand new all the time It is...

Dopamine Ranger, Amazon
4 August 2007
  • Summary: The mouse does not connect satisfactorily after installing the driver software which makes it function as a presenter. I installed the latest os/x driver from MS's support website. It claimed to be for OS/X 10.7 and upwards - I am using 10.7.2.

Worked well and then....

T. P. Jones, Amazon
3 August 2007
  • Summary: ...it stopped functioning as it should. I had intermitten problems with the bluetooth reciever working with both my laptop and home pc. More frustrating was the fact that the bluetooth reciever stopped detecting the mouse, which resulted in a very laborous exercise of repairing.
