Summary: I kind of fixed the mouse tracking wheel by applying pressure of the wheel towards the tracking mechanism & that seems to work for now. I don't really require distance when operating the mouse but i won't try it again.
Pros: +Comfortable design +Nice battery life +Doesn't quit on you randomly +You don't really need to shut the mouse off, it shuts itself off after non use (although it still might drain the battery)
Cons: -Very short range: It only has the range of like 3 feet. It also has a very strange side effect, certain usb ports being used by external hdd's the mouse won't work. I have tested all the usb ports, they all work fine, but the USB receiver seems to malfunction unless i have the USB receiver on th...
Summary: It's cheap ...and portable. I'd only recommend using it with a laptop. If you use a mouse on your laptop frequently, you might want to get a full sized mouse, with a small transmitter instead. This is just a convenient, cheap, backup mouse.
Pros: Small, USB adapter and mouse snap together. Even though I have big hands, this little mouse fits nicely in my fingers.
Cons: Bad Transmit/Receive power...Short Range. No auto shutoff, you must put the USB adapter back inside the mouse to turn it off. The USB transmitter is a bit large. I've owned two, the first one broke after a few months.
Summary: I bought the wireless desktop 5000. The wireless 5000 is much higher quality, has a better feel and works from across the room.
Pros: Light, comfortable to my large hands, good battery life, good feel to buttons and allows browser back.
Cons: The only real problem is the distance you can use the mouse. I have been using one of these for a couple of years in my office where the pc sits just behind the mouse pad on the desk. OK for that. I bought this copy for home and it won't work through a single layer of wood desk. Bummer.
Summary: i own another wireless mouse logitech v550 nano. it has been working fantastic. so i generally have a high expectation to wireless mice. this mouse was bought for my parents. i though they would need a basic mouse, so i chose this one.
Pros: cheap, shape fits hand well, light weight, use one battery only
Cons: no off button. cannot turn off the mouse unless you unplug the receiver from computer! connection is not as good as expected, this means sometimes the mouse stops working properly for couple of seconds, but this situation is rare
Summary: Might buy again for notebook/travel use. Would not re-buy however, for situations where the diminutive size is not really an advantage. Also, one of the two I bought had the left primary mouse button fail after about six months.
Pros: It's definitely compact, which is a plus for travel. Reception distance is OK. It also has an underside recess for storing the receiver. It uses a standard AA battery, which lasts many months even if you don't "turn it off" by by storing the receiver.
Cons: I bought two of these for everyday use on desktop computers. This was not a very wise idea, unfortunately. The smaller "notebook" size of the mouse did not really gain me anything when used with a desktop (my fault, not Microsoft's, of course). And despite my "not at all huge" hands (actually the...
