I like the size and smooth scroll wheel

Daniel G., Newegg
18 May 2011
  • Pros: The last one lasted 4 years, this is a replacement for it. I like the size, maneuverablity, the smooth scroll wheel.
  • Cons: Sometimes it will report signal low, even though it is within 2 feet of the dongle.

Works

Stephanie R., Newegg
14 January 2011
  • Summary: I purchased this to replace a 3000 series mouse that was old... it worked better in my opinion, this mouse does not have the distance the 3000 had, if I go to far away from my laptop with it it will start to flash and you have to disconnect and reconnect the usb stick.
  • Pros: Good battery life, wireless
  • Cons: See other thoughts

It's an $18 mouse...

Joe C., Newegg
25 February 2010
  • Summary: This isn't a gaming mouse, it is a netbook/laptop mouse for casual use. It runs on a single battery so I can't imagine the battery life is as long as those I'm used to.
  • Pros: It's small and like most mice of it's kind the usb portion clips right into the bottom of it when not in use.
  • Cons: The battery installation was a bit flimsy but workable.

Notebook Mouse

NATHAN G., Newegg
1 December 2009
  • Summary: None
  • Pros: Capable little mouse that functions well for what it was designed to do. Extra buttons on the side as well as a full function scroll wheel. Mouse turns off to save battery life.
  • Cons: Only issue i've had with the mouse thus far is that it can sometimes not track correctly when on certain surfaces. But for what its worth the 20 bucks was well spent.

3 November 2009
  • Summary: The scroll wheel is smooth, so when you are using it you don't feel the bumps that I am used to. It is nice though.
  • Pros: I like the way the usb reciver stores in the mouse.
  • Cons: No way to tell if the mouse is on or the battery is dead.

User Review

Aurimas V., Newegg
2 July 2009
  • Summary: I love really like this mouse
  • Pros: Very nice mouse! Works on almost any surface and remains accurate and smooth. The fact that it doesn't have too many extra buttons I think is a plus for a portable mouse. The dongle secures well and is convenient to carry. Good battery life.
  • Cons: The scroll wheel used to be smooth but after about a year started to be harder to scroll at one spot. Had another mouse like that and the right button was a little hard to press.

there are better mice

carl p., Newegg
2 May 2009
  • Summary: All mice labeled 'wireless laptop laser mouse' should be bluetooth enabled. I didn't buy it from newegg because I needed it right away. If I had, I would have got the one I wanted, and it would have been bluetooth. So not buying from newegg cost me.
  • Pros: Small, light, precise, easy to shlepp around. Doesn't feel awkward or complicated. Connects without drama.
  • Cons: Ejects battery when getting receiver from base. Poor design in where battery goes. Feels light like child's toy. Magnifier button is handy, but it's right where the 'back' button should so you hit it be, so you hit it when you shouldn't.

Nice li'l laptop mouse

Anonymous, Newegg
15 March 2009
  • Summary: Buy from Newegg "wallyworld" got me for 30 bucks on my other one.
  • Pros: Handy, compact, nice USB receiver storage on bottom, battery life seems to be good, had one battery in for several months now. Smooth tracking & scrolling. Own 2 of 'em now.
  • Cons: Battery door seems to be a little touchy--pops open easily. Keep it close to receiver 'bout a foot is all I get range-wise.
