A Great Wireless Mouse
3 March 2011
Excerpt: I was originally worried about the quality of this mouse because I had bought another mouse from Microsoft and it didn't work at all. However, I really like the Bluetrack 5000 because it has a good battery life. Sometimes I would forget to take out the USB, but the batteries would still last me for weeks.
Excerpt: This mouse came in a package deal with my wireless keyboard. I have been using this mouse for over 2 years with no major problems. I use it on a gaming Rat Padz mouse pad and it tracks perfectly. Since this is my first wireless mouse, it's impossible for me to compare it to others, but in my opinion, the battery life is slightly lacking.
Excerpt: In my search for a good wireless mouse I have come by this product the Microsoft Bluetrack Wireless Mouse, I will admit that this a very good mouse. Even though they advertise this mouse as being very versatile with the different types of surfaces you can use this on I can not comment on it myself personally because I only use it with my mouse pad.
The Laser Mouse has sufficient accuracy and portability.

Excerpt: The Microsoft Wireless Laser Mouse 5000 is easy to use and works well. The set-up process might be challenging for some, but if you've used the technology before, it'll be easy enough. The wheel and additional buttons are a bonus, but the mouse does lack some of the added versatility of, say, a mouse that can be switched to presentation mode. If you only need a standard PC mouse to make life easier on your laptop, this is an excellent choice.
Excerpt: extremely accurate, 5 buttons, smooth scroll, quite long battery life, bigger desktop size, quite durable. NOT meant for gaming, scroll wheel is really tempermental when click by click is needed(for some purpose microsoft went with an optical sensor for the wheel rather than a mechanical 1(that Actually confused me)), side buttons tend to drop out sometimes for some cause. obtaining the hex essential screws beneath the pads makes it Actually tough to clean.
Summary: I received my Microsoft 5000 mouse today and I think it's a great product, it's alot heaver then I expected it to be and also the blue light doesn't shine like in the picture.Overall It's a good product and the buttons either side of the mouse are very handy to navigate back and forward through pages, I would recommend this product to anyone!
Summary: I have ordered a Microsoft Mice because i had one at home ten years old and still working perfectly ! Quality build and comfort. Works perfectly but first deceptions : - Big mouse but good for comfort - the wheel is free - Finitions are really not proper ! - Pictures are Fake : No blue light, there is a joint where you put your big finger, the receiver doesn't fit entirely in the mouse.
