Closest thing to a wireless Microsoft Wheel Mouse Optical that I could find
8 January 2013
Summary: It's not a perfect replacement for my beloved Microsoft Wheel Mouse Optical, but it's the closest thing I could find. If you're in the market for such a replacement, this is probably the mouse for you. It has a clicky wheel instead of one of those horrible smooth wheels. It has a *very* fast response time. I'm extremely sensitive to lag on wireless mice, and I don't notice any with this. (I use it for fps games, fwiw). I docked a star for its weight and size.
Summary: Like the small receiver that comes with the mouse, the only problems have been that for the most part ,after a restart or reboot, settings have to be redone as scrolling wheel go to sure fast, even though I have it set to slow. But for the price it's fine for my use
Summary: I was going to give this mouse a Five Star rating however, Four Stars is plenty because of the frustration and pain to take mouse out of the awkwardly shaped factory box without really tearing apart, completely destroying carton. In addition, Batteries are awfully hard to install, tricky and stubbornly harder remove. Unnecessarily tight fit. Had to exert vigorous pressure - an understatement. THE MOUSE WORKED PERFECTLY FROM THE MOMENT I PLUGGED IT INTO THE USB PORT.
