Great mouse with a couple weak points

Summary: I think I've said enough. I love this mouse! Great for casual multi-media, video games, web development, graphics work and I imagine anything else you could come up with.
Pros: This is the second one of these I've owned. The first one I got years ago at a best buy when they were brand new and paid a premium price. After a few years, it was so badly worn out that I bought this white model. 2 years later, this white mouse is now suffering from the same problem that inspir...
Cons: The absolute worst part of this mouse is it's scroll wheel. It gives you problems for almost the entire life of the mouse. About a year into ownership, they stop registering all of your middle mouse clicks(when you press the wheel down), which you may use often if you open multiple tabs in browse...
Summary: After using a Razer Death Adder for a couple years, this mouse is way more bang for the buck in my opinion. The Death Adder had mouse wheel issues from the get go and was very high priced. This mouse performs better at a fraction of the cost.
Pros: This is a great mouse. The button clicks feel nice, and the scroll wheel works perfectly, one click = one selection. Great size, my hand feels very comfortable using this mouse for long gaming sessions. Very responsive as well.
Cons: Cord is short and I had to use an extension to plug it into my PC, but this is more of a PC layout issue on my part so I am not docking an egg.
Summary: Superb mouse, glad I bought it. When/if I replace this one, it will be with the same model.
Pros: I bought this mouse when it was somewhat new a couple years ago. I wanted something cordless to play first person shooting games with. Perfect size for precision gaming. It's light weight enough to move around with only your fingers. The size is perfect for this function. If you like a mouse to f...
Cons: The mouse gets less precise at more than a foot and a half. If you're trying to snipe, it's not acceptable. I have had it plugged into a USB extension for it's life. The mouse wheel doesn't have notches that click that indicate when it's registered a scroll and that would normally stop the wheel ...
Summary: I'm not a MS fan-boy but MS has been making really good mouse products for a while now. Sometimes they put out a stinker but this is clearly not one of them.
Pros: I know the title sounds like an exaggeration - it's not. I work mostly on Linux and Macs but also on Windows for work. This mouse works with every OS. Duh - it's USB. That's not surprising really. Also in the past two years I've probably owned 15 different models of mouses(mice). What is suprisin...
Cons: If I had to nit pick I'd say that the only shortcoming are the side buttons (buttons 4 and 5?). They could be placed more ergonomically.
