Excerpt: Aesthetically I love this mouse. However I purchased it at the end of April and now by the end of August the pointer button has worn down to the point of almost not working. This one replaced an older similar Microsoft model that lasted me four years with the same day to day use.
Summary: Got this rodent to replace the dead MS mouse my wife was using on her laptop, and for her uses this mouse is ok, but not great. Pretty much the only reason we got this one, is that it was on sale, and it has MS's Bluetrack tech, which really does work very well, i.e.
Pros: Bluetrack, small, comfortable.
Cons: No 2nd side button, uses suspect MS transceiver, zoom function not complete.
Excerpt: Although it generally works on various surfaces as opposed to optical mice, this mouse is sketchy, jittery and somewhat unresponsive, even when just web browsing, regardless of whatever adjustments I make to it. There are many times when it lags behind or does not respond when I move it.
Summary: The middle button is too hard to press and the scroll is too smooth without any notches, so when I try to middle click on a link to open it in a new tab, it scrolls the whole page! Very frustrating if you use the middle button on your mouse. Also, it is a nasty battery drainer.
Excerpt: The mouse is a decent replacement but it is sometime too fast reacting to my hand movements and gets hung up. I placed the receiver in a different slot and it is working a little better. Time will tell if I will keep this mouse.
Pros: Comfortable Design, Fast Response, Glides Smoothly
Excerpt: Blue light technology is excellent, tracks very well on most surfaces... arm, leg, jacket on the floor. The forward button does not seem to work with my W7 enviroment. Sweet little transciver fits into base for storage, and just one AA battery for long life.
Pros: Accurate Tracking, Comfortable Design, Fast Response, Works On Any Surface
