Summary: Logitech M305 mouse died while on the road. Needed a replacement since using the tracking pad isn't the best for the kind of work I do on the laptop. Picked this up for around $12 just to use in an emergency. It did fill the immediate need, but will be replacing this with another Logitech mouse. The click on this Microsoft mouse is EXTREMELY annoying. Very loud and distracting not only to others around me, but to me as well. Can't hear myself think using this thing.
Summary: Considering this is a Microsoft product I expected this to be a top quality item.......but perhaps I expected too much. The build quality is good & it connected quickly to my lap top but the operation is poor. The curser moves around on it's own & is slow to respond - even after I've upped the double click speed. I keep thinking someone else is controlling the mouse as it goes off on it's own before catching up with what I want it to do.
Summary: The mouse has a DPI of 1000 and for me this is too sensitive on such a small mouse. The left mouse button intermittently fouls the casing, giving poor feedback on the button depress. Otherwise the mouse works as it should. I know its cheap but I expected better from a Microsoft mouse.
Summary: I purchased this last June 2012 and have to say that I am very disappointed with the fact that it continually freezes up from time to time when you are half way through doing something only to find that the pointer is jammed on screen and the only way to reactivate it is to remove the USB transmitter from the port and then refit it.
Summary: Quality is good and the USB dongle fits nicely inside the mouse. But this mouse is way too small for any prolonged use. I have small hands but my fingers hang way over the front edge, consequently my hand has to move back over the mouse and that creates strain. If I continued to use this mouse for any length of time, I'd get some kind of strain injury.
Summary: I cannot understand why this mouse, and most others on offer now, is far too small. The quality of the build is rather poor as well, rather light and flimsy. This product should really be advertised with the dimensions shown. I suspect the sellers don't because they probably think they wouldn't sell many! If anybody finds a decent wireless mouse please let me know! Thanks. In the meantime I shall have to reluctantly get my wired mouse out.
Summary: Despite positive reviews, I was generally disappointed. It does not switch off when the computer sleeps, hence accidental touch will wake the computer. The receiver extrudes the port quite a bit. Also, the mouse is VERY small. Stick to wires.
