Microsoft Wireless Laser Mouse 6000 Review
27 July 2006
After spending some time with the Wireless Laser Mouse 6000 it is a good general use wireless mouse. Notebook users who want a wireless mouse with a stowable transceiver for easy transport, but don’t like the miniature style of typical notebook mice will love the Wireless Laser Mouse 6000.
Pros: Comfortable to use, Programmable buttons
Cons: Lack of scroll wheel click could be an issue
Conclusion: The Microsoft Wireless Laser Mouse 6000 is a very good mouse that certainly allows you to get the job done. The use of batteries over a rechargeable system as with Logitech will be something to bear in mind, but with one set lasting you 6 months this isn't going to be a high cost factor. What is, is the £40 price point and the fact that it's right handed. If you can spare the cash this is a good mouse offering from Microsoft.
Pros: Wireless, laser for precision, comfortable
Cons: Not a great range so no good for presentations, batteries will need replacing eventually, left handed users will have to go elsewhere
