Summary: I've been using the Wheel Mouse Optical for almost as long as I've owned computers with USB ports to plug them into. For larger hands, this is one of the most comfortable ambidextrous mice I've ever used, and squarely beats almost all of the newer models Microsoft has released (although I do also...
Pros: • Super comfortable, even with large hands and light RSI in my mouse hand. • More than tough enough for the price: these things tend to last me ~5 years apiece • Quiet click & scroll action
Cons: • Getting a little hard to find, since they're such an old model • Lacking lots of advanced features of modern mice (not really a con in my case)
Summary: I just went and bought a 10$ mouse after this disappointment. The amount of time I used it was less time than it was in shipping. I do not know how people thought this was good. Maybe I had received a defective mouse?
Pros: -Looks and feels nice I guess?
Cons: -4 week long shipping -Had it for less than one month before it started jumping and skipping -Paid 20$ expecting a good mouse and I got this piece of junk, my mouse that I though I was replacing works much better -Very slow, I had mouse settings maxed, and even tried to increase polling rate
Summary: The newer version that replaced this one just doesn't match its resilience and comfort.
Pros: I really miss using this mouse. I've purchased at least three of them over the span of 8 years. These mice can take a beating and last incredibility long. Simple and no frills mouse with a comfortable design.
Cons: The cursor is jumpy when moving the mouse slowly. It lacks fine control, making it unusable. It's also really light, so much so that the cord pushes it around when I let go. I've used a lot of mice, but this one is so bad that the hand-eye coordination (which is really the crux of using a mouse i...
Summary: For 10 bucks, this mouse is exactly what you need. Even comes with a usb to ps/2 connector for the office.
Pros: Best mouse for the money Basic mouse that is extremely durable. Used one for a total of 3 years before replacing it with a gaming mouse USB and has a Scroller all while being optical. What more could you ask for?
Cons: Had one die after 2-3 years with constant use.
