Summary: Ended up getting mad and chucking it across the room against the wall. Didn't want to RMA it because shipping would cost me 10 bucks, which was about half of the purchase price of the mouse. At least I have some extra USB cable now.
Pros: No setup, just plug it in. Looks nice, so it makes a great paperweight.
Cons: The range is HORRIBLE. I couldn't get it to work more then 1 foot away.
Summary: I am very disappointed with microsoft for releasing such a poor product. This is my first and last microso** mouse, i will go back to logite** for good, i have never had a problem with any of the five mice that i have purchased from them
Pros: Mouse response is great, no lag between mouse movement and cursor movement.
Cons: Mouse is very heavy with batteries installed. The mouse wheel does not work properly. it will function for about 5 minutes, then it will refuse to scroll down, I have to take out the batteries and reinstall them to get it to work again. Left click is going out already and I barely own it for a month
Summary: I will soon be suing the manufacturers for RSI. The buttons are unreliable - single click, double click, click hard, click gently - who knows whether this piece of junk will respond? Jerky tracking and scrolling (though that can to some extent be corrected by adjusting settings).
