Summary: I've had this product now for going on over 4 years and it's just as good as the day I pulled it from it's box. It may be a little big for the average user, but it's also been the longest lasting and most durable piece of PC equipment I've ever owned.
Summary: I purchased a different mouse today. Can't wait to get rid of this one.
Pros: I like how you can add or remove weights. Cool LED lights.
Cons: If you play games like Counter-Strike, I would NOT buy this. I use a SteelSeries 4HD mouse pad and the mouse doesn't track well at all. Before this mouse I used a Logitech MX510 and never had tracking issues. During the winter months the metal scroll wheel shocks my finger when I first touch it. ...
Pros: I have have this mouse, and after 3 years it has come to an end. It no longer works , everywhere I look I see that this mouse has been discontinued. And no longer exists. I have bought others but I have yet to like it as much as this one. Newegg if you were to have this in stock please can you se...
Summary: I did buy this from new egg. But got lucky and got an open box, that looks like it never was opened. Love getting those. And Newegg service was top notch as always.
Pros: Compatibility. It's MS so it just works with Windows. No Driver issues, no software issues it just works.
Cons: Center scroll wheel. Being metal seemed great to me at first then I realized I had little traction if my hands got sweaty. This is why it gets 4 Eggs. My index finger slid off the scroll every now and then. Not always mind you, but it appears this was a looks over function decision.
Summary: This was my absolute favorite mouse until I got a R.A.T. 7 a few months ago.
Pros: great feel for my 6'2" guy hands. I quite like the side buttons and the weights.
Cons: primary mouse button stopped reading clicks so well after about 2.5 years of very heavy use. I almost hesitate to knock it for this but had a few logitech mice that have withstood similar hard use and are still kicking.
Summary: I used to be a huge PC gamer, but when the PS3 came out I almost completely stopped playing games on my desktop. Every once in a while I'll come back for Fallout or Skyrim, but for the most part I play video games on a large HDTV using a PS3.
Summary: First off, writing a review for a discontinued product is a little silly, but these are still available through other channels (auction sites, smaller computer supply shops, etc) so I thought adding an additional positive review might help to steer someone in the right direction.
