Awful

Trevor R., Newegg
29 November 2012
  • Summary: Don't buy this
  • Pros: It looks nice
  • Cons: Buggy as hell, has major recharge issues (it will fail to recognize it's plugged in even when it is), laser malfunctions often causing jumping cursor, half the function buttons stopped working after 2 months. Awful awful mouse, I went back to my cheap $30 logitech mouse and never had a problem ag...

The WORST mouse I have ever used

Justin P., Newegg
10 August 2012
  • Summary: PLEASE, do not waste your money on this awful product. I've used plenty of mouse from traveling to gaming and i really didn't think someone could make a product this bad. I thought it was me that bought a defected one but really from the awkward form to the poor base design, I'm convinced that this...
  • Pros: 3 dpi settings
  • Cons: I don't really know where to start so please bear with me. First of all the the feel is very awkward, and the 4 corners in the bottom aren't padded so the way it moves on the surface is very rough and it tore up my desk. The mouse sometimes randomly click on its own. Thumb buttons on the side die...

I hate this mouse

eric d., Newegg
3 May 2012
  • Summary: I plan on getting a new mouse soon, thinking about going with something from the razor variety.
  • Pros: it recharges
  • Cons: This mouse is designed for those of you out there with big hands. I also seem to have issues with the left and right click buttons not being so responsive. Sometimes the mouse pointer lags. I got to the point where im back to using my old mouse again.

Hype and disappointment

Ernie C., Newegg
1 December 2011
  • Summary: More Cons Actually... The macro has quite a long record buffer. You could record an hour or more of game play key presses and mouse clicks, and if the variables were removed, theoretically play the same hour long session over and over again.
  • Pros: + Up to 4000 DPI with 3 settings + Rechargeable with cord - no messing with batteries + Feels solid + Programmable buttons + Power Switch for extended inactivity. + Price ($45 on sale) When it works, it's pretty good. It is responsive in desktop applications. 1000 - 1500 DPI makes a nice general ...
  • Cons: A button dedicated to opening Intellipoint is useless when I can make a shortcut, and it's position also makes you lift your hand. Large handed or two-finger mousers will find buttons 4 & 5 out of reach without c.o.c.king the mouse, and the macro button's only saving grace is it is even further a...

worst mouse EVER

Kenneth B., Newegg
7 September 2011
  • Summary: dont buy it, not worth it get anything else, i would go back to my wired LG mouse from the late 90s if i still had it
  • Pros: the speed selection is nice, the buttons are well placed except for the one thumb button at the very front. i have small hands and the mouse fits very well with that exception.
  • Cons: ok now to the good stuff this mouse comes with a "dock" it has 10 ft of cord for the usb plug... this is unnecessary i use it for my laptop and having the extra bulk and wire is very frustrating. the mouse will lock up at random times and cannot be unfroze until you hit it very hard with your fis...

Good while it lasted

Anthony S., Newegg
22 August 2011
  • Summary: Of course right before it dies, MS decides to discontinue this product. So I have to not only do the RMA through MS, I wont even be getting a new mouse. I have to wait for them to process the RMA, then I have to wait for the cash to come in the mail.
  • Pros: Most comfortable mouse I've used for gaming yet. Has a nice weight to it. It's got better thumb buttons than my busted X5(middle click failed after a year). Wireless is nice, and I especially like the charging system. 4000dpi is plenty for me.
  • Cons: Owned it for less than 2 months before it became unusable. When charging/using it at the same time, sometimes the cursor would get stuck, or jump around the screen for a couple seconds before it'd be ok again. Then out of nowhere, yesterday it started acting erratically. It makes it's own selecti...

bad mouse!

SHUHAO S., Newegg
9 August 2011
  • Summary: first i thought battery level was low. had it charged for 4 hours. still the same. second I thought maybe it's the frequncy disruption or something. un-plugged all bluetooth or wireless devices and tried again. same thing. now trying to go thru microsoft websites to get help/warranty...
  • Pros: good response. love the in-game sensitivity settings. (the sensitivity buttons on the mouse itself)
  • Cons: a month and half of use later. it started to malfunction. scroll button, it works on my windows. but not on my browser (that's internet explorer) left mouse click, on internet browser(chrome). when I click on a favorite web site link from a new tab window, it opens another tab to go to that link....

Amazing mouse, but...

Robert K., Newegg
26 July 2011
  • Summary: Auto 1 star for it not lasting a month. I mean come on, it was a gaming mouse, it should take a wee bit more abuse than that.
  • Pros: This was truly an amazing mouse, I was very happy to see the macro function would work with my sidewinder X6 keyboard that I got with the mouse and the charge-and-play feature with the magmatic charger end was also neat.
  • Cons: But I learned the hard way that some piece of the mouse wheel will break in about a months time of normal use (Last Logitech mouse I had lasted 2 years solid of abuse and still works) and like one other poster said before, item is discontinued. Also needs a better battery system, like not a strai...
