I have 5 of these

Summary: I have 5 of these....well, it helps that I didn't pay a penny for any of them, but if I had to buy 1 mouse, this would be that mouse. Compared to the cheap IBM optical mice I was using before, this MS Intellimouse is much much more accurate. I can use them on any surface and they register my movements perfectly. The're comfortable and they look nice as well. Great nice. Recommend.
Great mouse! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Lasts for YEARS! Takes a beating!

Summary: I love this mouse. I've gone through two of this type of mouse but each one lasted around 5+ years of hard use and abuse. It has taken a beating as it has fallen off of the desk onto the tile floor dozens of times, tossed in laptop bags, grabbed and thrown by small children, etc., and STILL works great. The buttons are easy to customize in general and for specific programs. It works on many different surfaces.
Summary: This mouse may be the best Microsoft mouse that was ever made. Event today in 2012, I would still rate this mouse as one of my top 5 favorite mouse. I own other top end mice before. I have R.A.T 7, Steel Series, Logitech G9, and various Razers (favorite is the Deathadder), but this MS mouse stands on its own. Even though the technology is optical, rather than laser, I have never experienced lags or tracking problems while playing games.
Summary: I bought one of these mice 10 years ago to replace a clunky, heavy wireless mouse that came with my computer. I've used the mouse pretty much daily for 10 years and it's still growing strong. When I bought a second computer, one of my first priorities was to buy another one of these mice. I have the buttons programmed for various tasks for different programs and I rely heavily on the buttons. I hate using computers with standard mice now.
Summary: I've been using this mouse for many years as a hardcore gamer, and think it's fantastic. After years of intense use, I had to get a new one, but they're not expensive, so it wasn't a big deal. Edit: My hand fits to the mouse quite well and the buttons aren't too small (just right, in my opinion)--the mouse works out great for gaming.
Summary: This is my favorite mouse of all time, I have been buying the same mouse for 10 years, now I see Amazon is not selling it any more :( Microsoft seems to be replacing this mouse with the Comfort line, which is not a replacement of the classic intellimouse with 2 side buttons one on each side.
Summary: I was looking for a new mouse and ran across this one by chance. It brought back some good memories from when I was in high school. This is the best mouse that I have ever owned. The plastic texture is great, the smooth silver button on the side is perfectly placed, and the scroll button works phenomenally. If you want a corded mouse and don't want to take any risks, buy this mouse. It is seriously awesome.
Summary: fantastic. I you work with spreadsheets and need pointing accuracy. Then this is your mouse. The programmable side buttons are a nice feature too. For the price you can't find anything better.
Summary: I have been using one for over 8 years. I was glad that I found a place that still had them. Best mouse that I have ever used. Old 8 year old one is still working but, I figured that I had better get another one while still available.
