Excellent Mouse, works great
Giscard Gomperts, Amazon
1 October 2010
Summary: I have been using this for almost 2 years now. It fits great in my medium sized hands. The weight is perfect for long use. I unplug it from pc and take it to work almost every day. Con : I get annoyed by other mouse now since i started using this mouse Update, i had to fix the cable by cutting it, but that's no problem because it was under heavy use. The right-click button stopped with the clicking sounds and doesn't work so great anymore.
Summary: Edit: Great support from Microsoft! They offered to replace my Habu mouse with the Sidewinder X5, or give the money back. I took the money back, but I might get the Sidewinder X5 anyway because it's reviewed pretty well and has the DPI switching I love. Thanks Microsoft! Here is the review I made before: There is one issue with this mouse that trumps all the other cool stuff about it: Accidental double-clicks.
Summary: I've owned this mouse for just over a year, and I've really enjoyed it. After using a wireless mouse for a full day, my wrist would be sore so I wanted a lighter wired mouse. This mouse is light, accurate, and feels great in my hand. However, it has recently started to double or triple-click occasionally when I only single-click. I just replaced it with a different mouse. It should not have failed after one year of use. As for the firmware update.
Summary: This mouse feels very good in my hand. I have slightly smaller than average hands, but it seems like it would fit a bigger hand just as well. I have been trying a lot of different mice, and this is the first mouse ever where I can comfortably press the side buttons with my thumb without shifting my hand. The alternate side buttons are a great idea. This mouse combines the best of both worlds for me.
Summary: If you are a low sensitivity gamer do not buy this mouse, when you move the mouse too fast it doesn't register and stops. This is not a problem with my new mouse MX518 which is very responsive, If you are a high sensitivity gamer then this mouse will be fine for you, just not for me.!
Summary: This mouse worked well for about 4 months then the screen freezes and connection problems began to start! First of all I thought it was a problem with the port on the PC but as it got worse its obviously the mouse. Very dissaponted as Razer is highly acclaimed and with Microsoft adding their quality to the product I thought this would be brilliant. After all the problems with wireless I have had in the past I thought a wired mouse would pawn.
Summary: I'm glad to see that the previous reviewer has had nothing but positive experiences with the Microsoft Habu. However, many (including myself) have different stories to tell. Firstly, I have to say that the feel, design, and performance of the mouse (when it works as it is supposed to) is fantastic. I would not hesitate to give 5 stars on the basis of the good times. However, I and many others have suffered from problems with the software.
