Summary: I opted to get the red mouse and I loved it! The cord could be longer but luckily I have an USB port on the side of my DELL monitor, so it wouldn't a big deal. Very accurate and cheap. Take it from me, great buy!
Summary: Like many I have just about tried every cordless mouse you can get. Some were Microsoft, Logitech, Kensington and a few others as well. Almost all the mice I have used had some things I didn't like too much. The scroll wheel, either no friction to speak of or too much (click type), the buttons too stiff or much too soft and too easy to push when not intended. I finally settled on a Kensington but the wheel detents were too coarse for any precision CAD work.
Summary: Really is accurate and reliable. I got one at home and one at work. I like the wire placement that's off to the side, it stays out of the way very well. I tried battery mice, even used lithium batteries, but I prefer the wired mouse. Less problems. No ongoing cost to operate, no batteries.
