Summary: I find it takes a normal amount of force to click the mouse, but to be fair, I'm coming from a Comfort Mouse 3000. As for the polling rate, traditional means to change it from Windows don't work. The mouse works fine regardless though.
Pros: Looks decent, has grippy-sides, and glides easily across my mouse pad and plastic table.
Summary: Newegg.com performed its role to the highest standard, as always. I love this company.
Pros: Same feel and size as Intellimouse; Blue Track provides noticeably superior tracking, "back" button placement is convenient and (mostly) conventional in its placement while avoiding accidental use. I actually like that particular small change.
Cons: The "forward" button placement is not as convenient as it was with the Intellimouse, but neither me nor my wife use that button very often anyway, and so I suspect that is the case with the majority of people. However, if you are one that uses the "forward" button frequently you will have a valid...
Pros: Smooth, responsive, works great except for middle button.
Cons: The middle button is unreliable. The problem is when you push down on the middle button if the scroll wheel moves *at all* during your press the click is not registered as a click even with the latest drivers there is no configuration option anywhere to do anything about it. If you have any games...
Summary: VERY GOOD COMPROMISE BETWEEN A GAMING MOUSE AND EVERY DAY MOUSE FOR INTERNET AND MY GRAPHICS. AND WIRED. BLUETRACK IS AWSOME I LOVED THE OLD RED INTELLIMOUSE OPTICAL BUT THEY WERE TOO SLOW FOR FIRST PERSON SHOOTERS, BUT YOU COULD NOT EVER BREAK THEM, NOW I HAVE RELIABILITY AND SPEED FOR GAMES
Pros: VERY NICE SOLID TRACKING! VERY SMOOTH, WHEN IM PLAYING GAMES THERES NO "GLITCHING" OR MICRO STUTTER ACROSS THE SCREEN AS SEEN WITH MY LASER GAMING MICE. IM SO SICK OF MY $70. GAMING MICE FAILING AND GIVING ME BAD UNRELIABLE PERFORMANCE. BUTTONS ARE SOLID AND WHEEL IS VERY RESPONSIVE.
Cons: FORWARD AND BACKWARD BUTTONS ARE WAY TOO HIGH, SO I DONT USE THEM. I HAVE HUGE HANDS.
Summary: Not being able to comfortably use the button on a mouse named the "Comfort Mouse" almost feels like it is entirely misleading advertising, especially after how soft and smooth the buttons were to press on any mouse in the IntelliMouse Explorer series.
Pros: The precision of this mouse is great, they did an awesome job upgrading the tracking technology over the IntelliMouse Explorer series.
Cons: The buttons are just TOO STIFF. I bought this as a replacement for an aging IntelliMouse Explorer, partly because the physical shape was similar. Upon using this mouse, I found the buttons (especially the middle click and thumb buttons) to be too stiff to the point it hurts my wrist to use after ...
Summary: compared to my previous MS intellimouse 3 which this mouse replaced, it doesn't come close.
Pros: it's an inexpensive 5 button mouse that functions
Cons: cord is very cheap, forward and back buttons are placed too high to comfortably have quick access to them, middle mouse click has a noticeable delay when clicking it. (eg. opening links in tabs and closing tabs)
Summary: considering everything Microsoft got right with this mouse, it's surprising they messed up one of the simplest components (the magnet that registers movement in the scroll wheel)
Pros: great shape and size, tracks smooth and precisely, under $30
Cons: scroll wheel doesn't register occasional movement when scrolling, such as the first tick of the wheel, which is a design flaw and can't be fixed with drivers. this is a deadly problem when switching weapons in a game, for example. it's also annoying when simply surfing web pages or scrolling thro...
