Great Mouse For The Price

Jason D., Newegg
10 April 2013
  • Pros: Connects quickly, solid buttons, light weight, great price, and small. Great mouse to keep in my laptop bag!
  • Cons: Could have a little better build quality, but for the price is good enough.

  • Pros: It's great but the Logitech is match batter than Microsoft on the mouse.
  • Cons: two batteries is stupid because even you use one battery, its still could work well.

Not a mouse, more like a contemptible sewer rat!

Anonymous, Newegg
25 January 2013
  • Pros: Works well when it works
  • Cons: Really doesn't work when it doesn't want to work. Microsoft uses a shotgun approach to tech support for the hundreds of complaints against it. This mouse reeks of gnarled Limburger and I'd stay away from this disease ridden rodent.

Used to like it

Jay B., Newegg
23 January 2013
  • Pros: Worked good, battery life a couple of months. Good size for travel and desktop use
  • Cons: Whoops, the wheel doesn't work anymore after I upgraded to Windows 7 64 bit. Dell (who sold it) and Microsoft Tech support couldn't fix it, and blamed each other.

Nice Little Mouse

j r., Newegg
29 December 2012
  • Summary: It's a nice size, feels good in my hands and it functions quite well with my tablet, so all is well as far as I'm concerned. I've read a few other reviews criticizing the mouse for dropping connection, but had no problem there.
  • Pros: I bought this mouse for use with my Asus TF700T Transformer tablet (which I had previously purchased from Newegg) after trying unsuccessfully to pair a Verbatim Bluetooth Notebook Mouse I'd purchased elsewhere. The Microsoft 5000 mouse is small and comfortable for me and, best of all pairs withou...
  • Cons: The only con I can think of is I ordered it on Black Friday weekend from Newegg's listing on a well known auction site and they were apparently buried in orders that weekend, so it took longer to receive than Newegg's usual rapid shipping times. I can't really blame Newegg for being popular.

User Review

Jace K., Newegg
30 November 2012
  • Summary: Love these mice. I have another one just like it that died (I thought) from leaky batteries. Long story short, the old one started working after I ordered this new one. So now I have a spare, i'm sure it will come in handy.
  • Pros: Portable, comfortable, accurate, battery life is great. Bluetooth keeps USB ports free on my laptop, which only has 2.
  • Cons: Not the cheapest, but worth it I think.
