Summary: I've bought 2 or more Microsoft mice through the years. This one I like, but I deducted one star because of the noticeably loud clicking sound that others have mentioned. At first it was a little bothersome, but I no longer notice it (I checked and the mouse's click is still somewhat loud).
Summary: I have bought so many wireless mice only to lose the dongle that goes in the USB. But, I have not lost this mouse. It is superior to many out there. The mouse is precise and you will find it difficult to beat the 9 dollar and change price point!
Summary: Certainly fills the bill! Works and well. What more can you ask from a mouse? Sharp and clean clicks and no BS on movement. I used to go with Logitech, but now I'm back to MS... they always did make good mice. Like I recently told a friend, about this very mouse, "Crisp and clean with no caffeine".
Summary: A basic mouse, bought a bunch for work to replace failed Dell OEM optical mice. The button travel is fairly long and the click is slightly louder than most mice I've dealt with (but I actually like that). Scroll wheel works well and the cord has ample length to reach to PCs placed under the desk.
Tracks and scrolls well, a little noisy, but good value for the money

Summary: Tracks and scrolls well. I've gone through a few Logitech mice and they all have fine resolution tracking issues or the scroll wheel is jittery [yes, I've gone through the myriad debug steps and add-ons - don't feel they are worth it]. The selection buttons definitely make a louder sound.
Summary: This mouse is very good value. Reasons for buying, 1.inexpensive, 2. optical, no cleaning necessary. 3. only has what is really necessary, 2 buttons and mouse wheel. 4. Durable, I have used these for years and they all still work. Its not a gaming mouse but it does just fine in the role.
