Buyer Beware - Must have Bluetooth 4.0 LE on you laptop.

Ben G., Amazon
  • Summary: I have been a longtime owner and happy user of the original Arc Touch Mouse, the black one with the USB Dongle, and wholeheartedly endorse that product. The form factor is different, but you will adapt quickly. The lie-flat design is simply a must-have for anyone who travels with a laptop/messenger bag on a frequent basis. I find the touch scroll to be more sensitive and precise than most standard click wheels. However, there's a big BUT with this version of the product.

It is easy to fold and unfold though it only has the ...

  • Summary: This mouse wasn't too difficult to set up with Bluetooth. It is easy to fold and unfold though it only has the two positions. It fits alright in my hand. The buttons click fine. I am using this with a tablet and it serves its purpose. It's not the best mouse I've used as far as comfort, but it's quite portable and the Bluetooth feature is very nice.

A compact travel mouse but the disconnect issues are annoying

James Beswick "Thanks for your time", Amazon
3 October 2014
  • Summary: The flattening design makes it great for travelling compared with the bulkiness of a traditional mouse and while the snap-on concept take a little while to get used to, it's an effective and smart power switch. It feels expensive and certainly more luxurious than the standard piece of plastic and also fits perfectly in your hand.

Convenient, but build quality seems poor

Ed, Amazon

  • Summary: The Arc Touch Bluetooth mouse is nearly identical to the regular Arc Touch mouse, which I also have. I've had the non-Bluetooth Arc for several years and while not my favorite mouse to use for long periods of time, I've liked it a lot for its versatility and convenience. The best part of the Arc mouse is that it folds flat for easy storage and travel. For some people, it may not be very comfortable to hold.

Bluetooth 4.0 HARDWARE required

C. Thilmany, Amazon
29 September 2014
  • Summary: Beware: Unless you have Bluetooth 4.0 hardware on your computer, you will need to purchase a Bluetooth 4.0 USB adapter in order to use this mouse. Amazon does sell one for about $14. But that negates one of the aspects that had me interested in this in the first place. I liked the idea of freeing up a USB port and thought this software was something that you just needed to download.

A neat idea, but it has some problems...

P. Breakfield IV "Tom Steele", Amazon
20 September 2014
  • Summary: I was really excited to try this out. First off, it just looks cool. Second, I am always dealing with a messy desk. I don't know why, but I tend to keep a messy desk. I try to keep it clean, but a few days after a deep clean, I find myself getting messier and messier and before you know it, I am in a sea of paper and it is a mess. So I was hoping that not having a cord would be a good thing. And the sensor strip in the middle has a huge "Gee whiz" factor.

  • Summary: At first I thought buying this mouse was a mistake and I didn't care for it at all. I found it extremely difficult to use especially while using Photoshop and other mouse intensive applications. After about a month I found myself wanting my Arc Touch while using other mice and after a few months of use I had to bring it to work because I just couldn't be without it after becoming accustom to it.
  • Pros: Tactile feedback in scroll wheel, momentum based scrolling, customizable mouse click with macro option, folds flat for easy storage and also turns the mouse off, excellent battery life, extremely light weight, magnetic USB dongle holder
  • Cons: The click point for the left and right buttons is too far forward on the mouse, sometimes the wheel click goes off by accident while scrolling

  • Summary: Bought another Microsoft mouse Sculpt Mobile with 4 ways-scroll button to replace it! Keep the Arc Mouse in the bed room for occasional use!
  • Pros: Very accurate, better range than the rest of the mice that I had used, works on most surfaces! Nice looking mouse!, Great price, bought it on sale!
  • Cons: Not easy to click on both right & left buttons, not sensitive at all, my right hand gets tired easily!
