Summary: I have not had a lot of different mice. Maybe 5 in all. I originally bought this mouse about 5 years ago or so maybe longer. I found that this mouse fit my hand perfectly (I do not have large hands probably medium size) all buttons were easy for me to use. It worked perfectly for me.
Summary: Curious to see how long the battery life is with this mouse!
Pros: Perfect size for my desktop at a fraction of the cost of the MX Revolution. Works great in Windows 7 64-bit (besides the issue mentioned below). I have been a long time fan of Logitech and will continue to use their mice! Works well in SCII and Mafia II.
Cons: Skips/pauses from time to time in Windows 7 64-bit. Not sure the cause of this...

Summary: Best mouse i have ever owned. I use it everyday for my desktop pc. I would recommend this mouse to anyone in the market for one, be it for desktop or laptop. It is sure to please you, no matter how high your standards.
Pros: -Super Comfortable. Its ergonomic design makes it fit right in your hand. -Lots of useful buttons. The back and forward buttons are extremely convenient, and so are the zoom toggle and search button. -Scroll wheel. It is great because you can change it between a standard scroll wheel and the real...
Cons: -If you are a lefty, then this mouse may not be for you. Due to its ergonomic design, it only fits in your right hand. Just something to keep in mind for potential buyers. Other than that, this is a great buy.
Summary: The next real step up from this mouse carries a $100 price tag. 2.5x the money I paid. Love it. Its worth the asking price if you can't get it on sale.
Pros: I picked this up for about 33% off. At that price, there isn't any mouse that comes close. Its versatile -- the adjustable wheel is handy, and I love having it "open" (no clicks, it just freewheels). The wheel has three resistance adjustment points -- so if you needed precise control, just set it...
Cons: Logitech software. If you don't need it, don't install it. I don't know how good it is now, but it annoyed me eight years ago, so I have sworn it off. Yes, the rechargeable battery would be nice, though you could always use rechargable AA batteries if you had some laying around. It doesn't bother...
Pros: Perfect size. I use it for my laptop. I have also used it on the desktop too. Works great. Buttons are easily customizable. Long battery life. I maybe change batteries 2 times a year. The best mouse I have ever used. These are becoming hard to find. Wish Logitech would renew this line.
Summary: I have had a Logitech MX3100 Keyboard/Mouse combo since 2005. I love that MX1000 Mouse, but it is getting a little long in the tooth. One mouse glider has worn off and the other three are soon to follow. I bought an MX1100 mouse at a Big Box store on sale and it was almost as good as the MX1000.
Pros: The dual action scroll wheel is amazing! Ditto the cubby hole for the USB receiver. I demo'd it for my girl friend, and the first words out of her mouth were "I want one".
Cons: It is SMALL! OK for the laptop/notebook crowd, but not for large hands and a desk top.
Summary: I already own 2 of these that I've been using for at least a couple of years now & they're my favorite out of all the ones I've ever used. Bought another as a back-up since Logitech no longer make this model & replaced it with MX1100 which is bigger & has less buttons.
Pros: Lots of customizable buttons... 10 in all (including the left & right tilt + push on the wheel) to simplify your common tasks. Good transmitting range and an AA battery lasts for months even under heavy/constant use. Glides smoothly on almost all surfaces. Plus it fits really well in the palm of ...
Cons: Only wish the dongle is smaller like the newer nano type so it doesn't stick way out the side of your laptop. Priced a little high.
Summary: I don't use the Logitech software and probably never will. Using default Windows 7 drivers I am able to use the back & forward buttons normally as well as the middle-mouse button (wheel button). I am not able to use the zoom slider or the search button, but that doesn't bother me.
Pros: Great for average to small sized hands. Good weight, not really heavy but not a feather either. Dual-mode wheel, click-stop & free-spin. Great battery life. Wireless dongle fits inside the mouse.
Cons: Minor tracking issues, which are sporadic and seem to depend on the surface underneath the mouse.
