Summary: I've had this mouse for a few years and it's been awesome. It really is the perfect size, it's lighter than most, only needs one battery, and I love all the features. Recently the left click button started giving out (requires multiple clicks to accomplish one click) and the pointer would intermittently get stuck or skip. As the frequency of both these issues increased it became apparent that I'd have to swap for a new one.
Summary: I really like the way this mouse functions, but.. After a couple of months, the left button no longer worked consistantly. Logitech replaced it. The second one lasted for an even shorter time. Again, it was the left button, only this time it quit working all together. I'm not sure if I will bother trying to get it replaced. My old Logitech MX400 is still working well.
Summary: I have two of these; they were OK when I got them, but one started to get "jerky" movement, and the other - well, just went bonkers. The jerky problem is well documented, just Google "VX Revolution jerky trouble". I've tried everything, many different mousepads, reloading software, cleaning the LED, all to no avail. After an embarrassingly long time, I finally gave up. It is REALLY picky about mousepad surfaces, but none worked acceptably.
Summary: This mouse comes with great software. Highly customizable for your programs. The radio reception is great even across the room. However, the mouse buttons are poorly designed. It makes the mouse so frustrating to use I would caution anyone against buying it.
Bought 2, both unreliable after a short period of time

Summary: This is unbelievable. As much as I like almost every aspect of the mouse, the build quality is pitiful. The first mouse just decided to stop recognizing button clicks. 2 months later the second mouse sporadically double-click. If I could somehow combine the two I'm sure it'd all work out but as it stands I don't think I can buy or recommend anything made by Logitech anymore.
Summary: I've owned this model for one year and have had problems several times. Finally, a few days ago, it just stopped all together. For a piece of hardware that cost me over $50, I expected a longer life! And, of course, the warranty has expired. Very poor quality control at Logitech, that is for sure.
Summary: Never could get this mouse to work. I could never get the screen cursor to track with movement of the mouse, although clicking worked. I understand this is a frequent problem with laser mice and Windows XP, well it seems to followed through to Vista as well.
Summary: As other reviewers posted, must be the receiver dongle. When selecting an area or text, it almost always takes at least 5 times to select properly. It just loses connection and either doesn't select or selects a section of what you are trying to select. A very frustrating mouse...
