best mouse yet (trackball fan)

debbie s., Newegg
11 November 2009
  • Pros: I'm normally a trackball fan, but as soon as I put my hand on this (at a chain store) I had to have it... got online and bought from Newegg this spring.
  • Cons: A bit too small, even though I have small hands. If you're not using it many hours in a row it's fine.

Awesome notebook mouse

Justin B., Newegg
19 October 2009
  • Summary: The mouse comes with a "nano" receiver that only protrudes from the USB port like 1mm or something. I dont fool with moving the receiver I just leave it in my laptop's USB port and keep on trucking. (As I suggest most people do.
  • Pros: *Small & lightweight *Looks awesome *Fits most hands well *Comfortable to use *VERY smooth (movement and scrolling are smooth as silk) *Task switch button is awesome when it is set to do the "3Dswitch" in vista and windows 7 *Side grips are just plain sexy *Unbelievable battery life
  • Cons: *Some people may dislike the window on the bottom that you need to pop open to replace batteries, and for storing the receiver in the mouse. *Not for those with extremely big paws. (it is a notebook mouse after all) *No dedicated middle click but you can assign other buttons if you absolutely nee...

Not to shabby

Richard S., Newegg
19 October 2009
  • Summary: The scroll fast or slow wheel that uses pressure to be two different types of scrolling styles is very different and takes some getting used to as it feels very different than other mice. But once you get used to it it becomes an indispensable how did I live without this before feature.
  • Pros: One of the nicer lap top sized mice I have ever tried. The min transmitter is fantastic since you can leave it in all the time and it doesn't bend or catch. Great drivers and plays well with the docking station's other mouse drives as well as the touch pads drivers.
  • Cons: A bit cramped on the hand, but mosts smaller mice are. Perhaps the most annoying feature is that the scroll wheel does not have a button in it like most scroll mice. The button is right below the scroll wheel. Also if you are used to the 4th and 5th buttons being in the thumb or side position as ...

quality mouse

Zachary W., Newegg
27 August 2009
  • Summary: Performance is great, plug and play with both my windows 7 desktop and snow leopard macbook pro
  • Pros: I love the laser tracking, it responds on any surface I've put it on and works great. its a great size for a laptop, but I much prefer my mx518 for my desktop, though I'm seriously considering getting a g5 after the performance of the laser. it feels good in my hand too, not cheap. It came with a...
  • Cons: I love using the scroll button to open links in new tabs within web browsers, but the scroll wheel is too difficult to press quickly and easily. not only that it doesn't function like I expected it to. instead, the button behind the scroll wheel serves the purpose of middle click. given the small...

Best notebook mouse I have ever used.

Justin B., Newegg
21 August 2009
  • Summary: It is a little on the expensive side especially considering the almost identical NX80 is available for only thirty bones. If it weren't for the few minor hitches mentioned above and the high price, I would defiantly have given this bad boy 5 stars.
  • Pros: This notebook mouse is excellent! Unlike some of the other reviews I had read before making my purchase decision, I find the build quality to be fairly high. It doesn't feel quite as solid as the G7, but it doesn't feel flimsy at all. Rubber grips on the side are a great addition, and the color s...
  • Cons: The only cons I could think of are just slight annoyances: *The nano receiver has a slight amount of "wiggle" between the exposed part and the USB connector part. It can be a little alarming when pulling it out of a USB port, but due to its nano design most people won't be removing it from the po...

very smooth but could still be better

Jerrod K., Newegg
8 August 2009
  • Summary: this is a good system, but it would be a great system if the receiver had a curve on the sides to keep it from getting caught on the briefcase material when inserting and removing especially at airport check points where time is critical and small hang-ups are frustrating.
  • Pros: the mouse is high quality and has smooth action. the tiny receiver is great and i do leave it in my notebook all the time.
  • Cons: as small as the receiver is it is square and does catch on the laptop bag when i load the notebook in the case. there is also no place inside the mouse to store the receiver like previous versions.

Excellent overall

Eric X., Newegg
30 July 2009
  • Summary: Excellent in everyday use, and very portable. Love the little case that was included, and the usb extender. Logitech is excellent as always.
  • Pros: Very smooth use and Setpoint works very well.
  • Cons: No middle mouse (-1 egg), although you could consider this a bit tough.

Great wireless mouse

Nicholas K., Newegg
25 July 2009
  • Pros: A solid mouse with good response. The forward and bakc buttons on the top of the mouse are very useful. Battery life is great. And, of couse, the main reason to get this mouse, the small wireless reciever. I had one of the other logitec wireless mice, but I ruined the recieve when I was carrying ...
  • Cons: My one complaint about the mouse is that the mouse wheel doesn't function as a normal third button. It toggles back and forth between a free spin and normal mode for the mouse wheel. Only really a problem in games that use the button. The free spin is great for long documents or web pages, it's j...

Good laptop mouse

Igor B., Newegg
21 July 2009
  • Summary: In general, this is one of the best and comfortable laptop mice I've used. Scroll wheel. Although the scroll wheel does take a little bit of getting used to, I found the fast scrolling feature well worth it. LeftMouseButton.
  • Pros: Small receiver, good range, works on most surfaces, pouch is a nice add-on.
  • Cons: Placement/size of the Back and Forward buttons. The buttons are very small and located, rather unconventionally, on the top side of the mouse. That, combined with the small size of the mouse itself, means you have to be really precise with your index finger: it's very easy to hit LMB or Forward b...

Best Wireless Mouse so far

Scott K., Newegg
1 July 2009
  • Summary: Other than the above con, this is the best wireless mouse I've owned. Although it's slightly on the light-weight side of things, it works far above expectations.
  • Pros: -Great size: Good balance between size and weight for a laptop designed mouse -Battery life is outstanding so far. This has beat every other laptop mouse we've tried by far. -Wireless receiver is insanely small, you can keep it plugged into a laptop and never have to worry about it getting in the...
  • Cons: -So far the only con I have is that the wireless mouse interferes badly with my Asus VW22U LCD. I have the laptop plugged into the external monitor when it's setup on my desk and every time I move the mouse the screen fills with squiggly lines (interference) which is annoying. It doesn't affect t...
