"I have a Dell D600 and am unable to put into stdby mode"
1 April 2009
Pros: Feel and response
Cons: With this mouse am unable to put laptop (Dell Latitude D600) in standby mode. Logitech said mouse was bad and return it. Exchanged for a new one and it still will not let me put the laptop into standby.
Summary: I was at first very happy with this but latterly it has begun to chew through batteries at a frightening rate making it unusable pretty much. I thought it was faulty but have found this is a known problem among users. So I would recommend you stay away from this and look elsewhere as I have now had two different models of mouse from Logitech and they have both been poor - such a shame as Logitech used to produce great mice.
Summary: I've had this mouse for only a day. So far it seems to work okay, so I have no complaints on that front (although any problems with usage are not too likely to show up on Day 1). However, it's the most uncomfortable mouse I've ever tried. The whole idea of making ambitextrous contoured mice is completely misconceived.
