Logitech Notebook Mouse (V500)
11 September 2014
Excerpt: I replaced my big, heavy desktop PC years ago with a portable, lightweight notebook. As a result, I also wanted to exchange my cordless desktop mouse with something less bulky and far more travel-friendly. (Let’s face it, notebook “touchpads” are a pain to use!
Excerpt: I bought the Logitech V500 mouse because i needed something which was small, compact and reliable for use with my new Vista laptop. My mouse came in a small pouch with the operating CD and instructions for a quick start guide. When closed the mouse is turned off which is extremely useful for transporting. Not many other mice i have used have had an off function. It comes with a small slip-on case for protection and it looks quite neat too.
Pros: small, compact, easy to use, programmable buttons
Excerpt: I use this mouse with my Laptop PC and itdoes the job very well. It is very compact for when it needs to be portable, but folds open during use so doesn't feel too small in your hand. The Receiver is a small USB device which will fit in all desktop/laptop computers, and stows away in the mouse when not in use. Its fairly easy to use although it isn't plug and play, software must also be installed.
Pros: Very Portable, Looks Professional
Cons: Bit too small, not very versatile, problems using with USB hub .
Excerpt: This mouse is perfect, you couldn't ask for more. Its small, comfortable and easy to use(after you get past that first day) The 4 way scroll button is slightly confusing at first but after playing around with it for a short time everything becomes clear. Its much easier to use than the scroll wheels you find on regular mice. Its easily transportable and compact enough to put in your pocket. The aluminium casing makes this little mouse one of the toughest around.
Excerpt: I purchased this mouse last week and was amazed at the look and feel. It is very compact notebook mouse. The IR receiver tucks neatly inside a slot at the rear of the mouse when it is not in use. A sliding button releases the catch. Another slider releases the lid of the battery compartment. The mouse is driven by two "AAA" batteries. The pack comes with a carrybag to house the mouse. The only unique thing about this mouse is the scrolling mechanism.
Pros: Compact and innovative wheel
Cons: The feather touch wheel needs some practice,Doesn't work well with AutoCad
Excerpt: I purchased this mouse after acquiring a new laptop as the touch pad was slow to use for intense graphics and other packages. After doing some research I purchased the V500 after having being impressed with Logitech mice in the past. The V500 is a very stylish mouse (but I think it looks better in blue), and it has many desirable features making it a must have for mobile computing. ----- Pros ----- 1. Installation.
