Logitech V470 Mobile Mouse
19 July 2013
Excerpt: When it works ...functions wonderful Regularly quits functioning. The only way to get it operating again is to uninstall it and reinstall it. Updating drivers does practically nothing to remedy the circumstance. It is going to turn into a paper weight because that is all its excellent for. Should have bought the Microsoft bluetooth mouse I got for my daughters computer that works flawlessly!
Excerpt: Incredibly good hunting, excellent really feel. Looks fairly on my desk. Fantastic reminder to in no way go with Bluetooth devices once more, if this is the result. I purchased it for use with a brand new Acer mini notebook and I can not get it to operate, except occassionally. Extremely frustrating. Apparently, there is some magic I haven't discovered with Bluetooth.
Excerpt: Nice design for a paperweight. Completely useless. Pointer jumps about all more than the place, even moves in opposite direction of mouse movement. I tried it many surface sorts with no improvement. Updated the driver, no improvement. Lastly gave up in disgust andbought the Lenovo bluetooth mouse. This was the third Logitech bluetooth mouse for me. The two earlier seriesworked perfectly. I'm not confident what is wrong with the V470.
Excerpt: Looks Great, Compact Input Lag makes it unusable I bought this to use with a HTPC which is also used for gaming. The input lag on this mouse even when sitting a handful of feet from the dongle created it frustrating to use in Windows, and unusable in games. I would advocate against his mouse even for simple internet use. If other BT mice are this poor, I'm going back to regular RF - which has been sufficient for games like WoW at least.
Excerpt: Bluetooth indicates no dongle sticking outside the USB port. Tiny adequate to be portable but not also little. Goes by 2 NIMH batteries in a week, Alkaline in two weeks, shortens battery life on laptop (bluetooth), and cursor is jumpy. I really like Logitech Mice but this is the worst mouse i have ever had.
Summary: As others have found, a great little mouse but unreliable. Wanted a Bluetooth mouse to use with my laptop, which goes with me everywhere in my work. This fitted the bill, and I found it very comfortable, responsive, and easy to carry around. Its little pouch just slipped into my laptop bag, and wherever I set my laptop up, I just turned the mouse on and it worked. That all lasted for about 4 months.
Excerpt: It is a mouse. The challenge is....the v470 mouse goes into a sleep mode following five seconds of no movement.. When I read a little bit internet web page, sort a small bit words, edit a small bit, the mouse go to sleep mode, and when I move, it is jump. This is not great point since the aim is not predictable. I have tried to google, but I can't come across any answer for this challenge.
Summary: I loved the look of this product when I bought it; sleek, weighty. However, quickly it became apparent that it was just going to be one great big headache. There is a delay between you moving the mouse and the mouse on screen responding, it can be incredibly difficult to be accurate (to the extent that simply clicking on a desktop icon can prove difficult), and often the mouse completely loses connection with my laptop.
Logitech V470 Wireless Bluetooth Laser Laptop Mouse
C. A. Wooldridge, Amazon

Summary: This seemed a great mouse at first but it stopped working within a couple of weeks. Quickly replaced by Amazon and now the second has also failed within another couple of weeks. Very disappointing. Have asked for a refund this time.
Summary: My first one died after a year, but it is such a beautiful bit of kit on the outside that I bought another. That has also just died after less than a year. Once might be bad luck; twice is shoddiness. No more Logitech for me Logitech V470 Wireless Bluetooth Laser Laptop Mouse (Blue) .
