The compact size makes it easily mobile and able to be easily stored in any small pocket or pouch, or the pouch which is provided with it.
The small micro receiver also makes it easy to transport, and may remain in the notebook computer if you so desire.
The micro-receiver makes the mouse easy to transport. The very secure 2.4 GHz digital cordless also features a high def optical sensor that will help to keep your mouse reliable and a consistent performer with great cursor control on any surface.
The storeable receiver is about half the size that it was, and when not being used will fit inside the mouse itself if you don’t want to keep it inside your notebook.
The 1,000-dpi resolution is over twice as responsive as the typical optical mouse, and the Logitech also offers side to side scrolling to help with spreadsheet work, wider web sites and offers as well, zoom capabilities and tilt wheel to let you see exactly the spots you want to view more closely.

Overall great item. The small contoured design is functional. I would add a manual on/off switch on the bottom of the unit. Read more
I got this mouse as a gift and I love it! It has great tracking even on solid colored surfaces. It is small but fits nicely in my hand. The hide-a-way wireless receiver is great. I also love the off button on the bottom. The dark grey is a little drab. Overall this is a great wireless mouse. Read more
I love this mouse. There's nothing fancy about it, but it just fits my needs. After a ton of research into wireless mice, I chose this one. It's extremely portable, and fits nicely into my Targus case. The ergonomics of this mouse works well for me, and I don't need an entire side of a desk to operate it; I can go from top right to lower left of my screen within a couple inches of movement. The accuracy of this mouse is suprising, and the smoothness is very appreciated.... Read more
Notebook mice have a difficult task -- they need to be small/light for carrying around, but at the same time, they don't can't be too small or too light when using them. This notebook mouse is a good compromise. I like using this better than my old notebook mouse -- it's very responsive and does what I want it to do. I recommend it! Read more
I agree with Luckybook about this mouse, i.e. it is a good one. After a years' hard use the batteries would intermittently lose contact, but I adjusted the contact springs with needle nose pliers and fixed that up easily. Another similar model functions under the Logitech Unifying receiver system, which means you only need one transmitter for both a wireless mouse and and a wireless keyboard. This would be the more expensive Logitech M505. Which is what I would buy now... Read more
