Best simple wireless mouse

Vladimir S., Newegg
13 August 2013
  • Summary: This mouse is a bit sensitive, but after the first 10 minutes you get used to it.
  • Pros: Had this mouse since 2008 and haven't had a single problem with it. One battery will last for month at a time. Very precise pointer too.
  • Cons: None whatsoever.

Great basic mouse

Bob J., Newegg
10 December 2011
  • Summary: Why do they want you to install Setpoint? It's just a basic 3 button mouse! You need a good line-of-sight if using this from more than a few feet. I used it from 2 meters away, with nothing in the way, and it worked. When hidden behind something, the range was a bit more like 1 meter.
  • Pros: Tracks fast... almost too fast! This is sturdy - I've dropped it a few times onto a hardwood floor from a meter or so and no damage occurred.
  • Cons: It's a little noisy when you click. The USB adapter (which is the size of a thumb drive) feels a bit cheap and flimsy.

Doh!

Andrew G., Newegg
2 September 2011
  • Pros: It's made by Logitech. Mice like this one live so long I generally want to upgrade for feature reasons not for hardware failure reasons.
  • Cons: The USB receiver is NOT the mini one. Somehow I got this mouse confused with another mouse and now I'm stuck trying to return it. Hopefully I can find a local place to return it to.

awesome mouse

wildfiyah, Mwave.com
22 March 2011
  • Summary: slim receiver profile, long battery life, accurate pointer, comfortable, its a good mouse. If you want to use it for multiple systems as in unplugging it and plugging it back in for various systems perhaps its not that great of a buy.
  • Pros: battery life and range are excellent.
  • Cons: stow away wireless receiver is nice for something with a low profile, but the placement of the slot to put it in is inconvenient under a compartment that isnt meant to be opened frequently. The only reason this is still a good buy is the slim design of the receiver

Good Mouse

GALE K., Newegg
22 January 2011
  • Summary: New egg is great!!
  • Pros: It's a mouse,It points and clicks!!
  • Cons: The instructions state to use an Alkaline battery only. It came with a cheap no name AA in the package. I put in a Duracell and went about my life. The first time the mouse went to sleep mode it would not wake up. Move five feet from the laptop, remove the battery and it would work fine. after bea...

Overall good product,,,

Anonymous, Newegg
2 December 2010
  • Summary: Works as advertised despite cons. It feels very cheap but this is not a high end mouse. Just simply a travel mouse to use to take on the go and designed to be used for short periods of time. I bought elsewhere because Newegg didn't have the lowest price at the time
  • Pros: It's small, lightweight and definitely portable. Advertised battery life will probably hold to be true. I normally hate anything that doesn't have rechargeable batteries but I don't mind using them if they have a long life. The mouse is easy PnP. Insert a single AA battery into the mouse, plug in...
  • Cons: My biggest complaint is build construction, hence the deducted egg. The left and right buttons feel very cheap and the scroll wheel feels a little awkward. I feel like if I happen to accidentally drop this, it will shatter into pieces. Then again, this is a fairly cheap mouse so that complaint is...
