Excerpt: This mouse is awesome!! I first seen this type of mouse when I was in college a couple years ago. After graduating, I went back to the "typical" mouse. I came across it on B&H, at a better price than anywhere else...so I bought it!! The part I like most is that, I don't have to constantly pick up the mouse and adjust the pointer. When installing the driver it also installs Logitech software so you can change the settings.
Pros: Accurate Controls, Customizable Buttons, Easy To Clean, Smooth Movement
Summary: Ordered to replace identical unit that I finally wore out the left button on. Does everything I need it to do without having to drag a regular mouse all over the place. Easier to control and less hassle than a touch pad.
Summary: I actually ordered one of these by mistake about 7 years ago. Best mistake I've made. The only thing I don't really care for is how easily the glide points for the ball gunk up if you have animals or smoke, they are easy to clean however.
Summary: My father bought one for playing Myst around 1998. But, it was a serial model and kind of had to die with that computer. So, when I bought my laptop, I got a USB marble mouse. If you get hurt and can't use your dominant hand, the symmetrical design makes it just as easy to switch sides. I tend to be a daredevil, so I have had occasion to need this capability. And it's very portable. It doesn't matter where you work. It will stay put. The drawbacks are minor.
Excerpt: I have been using these for years on my computers (desktop and laptops) and love them. Easy to use and setup in windows. Just purchased 2 more for new computers. Shipped fast also and a great price.
Pros: Accurate Controls, Easy To Clean, Ergonomic Layout, Fast Response, Smooth Movement
Summary: My brother got me my own computer n 07' with a trackball mouse. I feel in-love with that mouse, wish I still had it, this will do though. At least they finally are showing the one with the ball with the trackball in the ball in the middle of the mouse. I tryed the one that uses the thumb, it was not helpful.
