Summary: Product comes in a basic white box without any instructions or software. Could not find any manuals at the manufacturer website. I just put the batteries in the mouse, plugged the little antenna? in USB and mouse start working on my new Toshiba laptop with Vista Premium. Had it for three weeks, works fine. Still did not figure out what is a little USB extension cord is for, or how to turn the mouse off.
Summary: I've been using this for about 6 weeks. So far so good. I was used to Microsoft but my last optical corded model didn't last long so I thought I'd try Logitech cordless. Feels good in the hand and shuts off when not in use. Time will tell the full story.
Summary: I got this product several months ago - early on it took 4-5 days or more to use up the batteries... in recent weeks it's gotten down to a day or two, and is regularly stalling/skipping in it's movement. I don't know if it's a flaw in the mouse or the receiver, or the batteries perhaps. Additionally, the receiver is HUGE compared to the little usb plugs that most other wireless mice use these days. It was a perfect size for my hand - very comfortable.
Summary: I bought this mouse as a replacement for a Microsoft one which I got from Currys. I believed Logitech would outperform Microsoft any day.. Always used wired Logitech mice and they were excellent. This one is pathetic. It does not have a on/off switch, merely some button which says "connect" - it doesn't seem to do anything. While in range the mouse connects to automatically, otherwise the button is useless. The range is the biggest problem here - it is just sad.
Summary: Works well. Batteries are loaded from the top and easyer to install than most mouse's. No on/off switch but then I would forget to switch it off. Easy to install, just plug in the reciever into your PC and away you go.
Summary: This mouse came free with my computer along with a keyboard, the keyboard is not that great, but this mouse is fantastic! Responsive, long lasting and highly accurate. I have owned it for 4 years now and it has served me well, i'm getting a new gaming mouse to take my computing more seriously, but for regular users, there is no better mouse in my mind!
