Summary: I only get 6-7 days of usage from a full charge. There is little to none advance warning. When the charge is empty the mouse ceases to function. I must take the charging cord with me everywhere because I never know when it will die. Otherwise the mouse is marvelous, but I would give up some features to get 6 months of usage per charge - even if I have to use regular batteries.
Summary: I liked Revolution well enough that I had a back up purchased. After heavy use, the ability to drag and highlight started to fail. I bought this, since it was advertised as the "new" Revolution. It may be new, but it is not improved. I hate the charging cable. The USB connector is very difficult for me to attach to the mouse.
Excerpt: I bought this mouse to use with Photo Shop as I read it was the best for the tools needed. I don't think is everything it was cracked up to be really. I have tried downloading the software to make the controls on it work but it fails each and every time. So really I don't feel like it is any different or performs any differently than a regular mouse.
Pros: Overall, it's a great mouse. t's responsive, it feels great in the hand, the option to use it wired or wireless is awesome, it feels sturdy and well made.
Cons: The center mouse wheel design and functionality is TERRIBLE. Do not purchase if you need to use center wheel functions (like for AutoCAD and other graphics programs) often. The scroll function also seems way to sensitive, but this can probably be adjusted.
Summary: The actual battery life of the mouse is no where near advertised. Its actually only about 3-4 days charge using it about 5 hours a day. The plus side is that the mouse does work while the charging cord is plugged in and the charging port is located in the same spot a standard mouse cord would be.
Pros: I have big hands, and find this mouse very comfortable. However those with smaller hands might want to look at a different mouse.
Excerpt: I have my mouse for a few years now, and I have gone through four of them with Logitech support, because each has the same problem, it either starts skipping across the screen, clicks don't register, or it drops connectivity altogether. Logitech's support is quick to send you a new one out, but once the original devices 3-year warranty is up, they drop you altogether.
Pros: Comfortable Design, Glides Smoothly, Great Features, Works On Any Surface
