Summary: Good and affordable mouse to buy for a laptop or for a backup.
Pros: Small Precise Portable Nice for a laptop mouse. When my gaming mouse broke I used it for awhile and just started using it for everything. It is fairly good for the price.
Cons: Reliability. After some time it ended up going bad. Barely any wear on the mouse, it would sometimes stop tracking or buttons wouldn't work on the first click. However, it did work for a year fairly reliably.
Summary: A good cheap mouse that lasts. I've had this mouse for a couple years, and while I did switch to a more expensive mouse, it still works fine. Would recommend if looking for a basic cheap usb mouse.
Summary: For lower definition screens, you'll have to turn the cursor movement sensitivity way down--not a huge big deal.
Pros: This basic mouse has a comfortable feel and business-like appearance. Depress the scroll wheel for your third button ("middle click"). Optical tracking is very high resolution which is great for today's high definition displays. No tracking ball to clean.
Cons: The scroll wheel action is rather loud at first but it will quiet down after a month of ratchet wear. The cable could stand to be a little longer and larger gauge wire. I've deployed about a dozen of these and had one develop an open circuit in the USB cable where it enters the mouse and sees lot...
Summary: We purchased a bunch of these for use on our tech bench at work. We were looking for something inexpensive but reliable. I've had good luck with Logitech stuff for all my personal systems (including the one on my desk at work) and these were cheap enough to have a few spares on-hand should any go...
Pros: USB optical mouse... it works.
Cons: They feel cheap but they'll probably outlast our tech-bench keyboards.
