Very little 'click' feedback from the scroll wheel
18 May 2014
Summary: There is little if any (varies between units, I bought three) feedback when one uses the scroll wheel. Instead of having distinct indents for each advance, you can barely tell if there is any at all. This varies between the three that I bought. One is sort of Ok, the other two have little.
Summary: Not particularly honest of Newegg to be selling things like this with no details in the advertising.
Pros: None compared to other available devices.
Cons: This is not a retail item. I got the mouse in a cardboard box that looks like it should be packaged with a PC system. There's no way to know if the item is actually new. There's no literature with the item. I know what Logitech sells retail because I have another mouse (B100).
Summary: I love the design of this trackball; the large ball in the center and the four buttons are placed in what I find to be the most comfortable and controllable manner. The size of the ball means that I can do fine movements of the pointer without a single problem, and the main buttons are sufficiently...
Summary: Logitech quality is not what it used to be. The mouse wheel on the B100 is the worst I have ever encountered on any mouse. It is very loud while scrolling, and it has a gritty feeling too. Did Logitech put sand in the scroll wheel? Sure feels like it to me.
Summary: This mouse works fine, I have no complaints about that. However, it is noisy when you click. How noisy? My husband could hear it in the next room where he was trying to sleep. Both he and I have become so aware of its clicking sound that I may have to replace it.
Summary: I originally picked up this mouse when I needed a replacement, however it turned out to be a bit substandard. Everything worked OK, but the feel was rather cheap and the wheel was flimsy. It also didn't come in manufacturer packaging, it came in a plain cardboard box.
