Logitech MX 518 mouse is a nice mouse
9 September 2012
Excerpt: I use to own this mouse, but I have since switched to wireless. I use to think the Logitech MX 518 high performance mouse was too big. I have small hands and so this mouse was big for me. The logitech MX518 is lightweight for its size. It is fine for gaming, but due to its size, you will need plenty of room to move the mouse around. The buttons were fine. I think Logitech buttons are way too loud and this mouse is no exception.
Summary: The G5 that I replaced this with spoiled me. Even though they share the same form factor, the feel on the G5 was way better. The G5 had the weights which, though at first glance may seem gimmicky, actually gave the mouse a nice weight and balance, which the flighty mx518 lacks. The styling on the mx518 is chintzy with a cheap, shiny sticker backing. And to top it off, the optical tracking of the mx518 pales in comparison to the years old g5 laser.
Pros: - Better than a standard mouse in terms of dpi, - nice form factor
Cons: - shiny, chintzy shell, - seams are too wide, - tracks poorly compared to higher priced mice
Excerpt: Buttons program quite uncomplicated to keys like F12 and i hotkey a mouse important to f12 instend of some useless important binding the doe's on the mouse. Then in game I set like Rogues Kick attack to F12.. Simple as that. Mouse is so light..Further keys are too far up on the mouse I have to move my hand to reach the other keys from were I generally hold the mouse. Also the prime is seriously slippery so ur fingure's slide on it.
Excerpt: Great really feel for FPS gaming Doesnt hold up lengthy, 1 year commonly. Ive purchased four of these more than the course of a lot of years ƒ of them were the prior incarnations with a various model number).Type of crazy to maintain getting these due to the fact the appropriate click button typically dies following a year of intense gaming.
Excerpt: Clicks nicely. Beneficial High-quality. Sturdy if too lightly built. As well light and no adjustment for weight. Not for the ten% of us that are right handed. Speed not finely adjustable sufficient(for me). Could use one other button on prime.Dented look a bit adolescent. I got employed to a Fatal1ty mouse and was spoiled with its functions, but wanted a significantly more reliable item than the Creative Labs cheapo crapola. This was an high priced mouse.
