Excerpt: I have been using this mouse for a few months now, as I got a desktop recently. This mouse is what I wanted - ergonomic, lots of buttons, wireless, and big enough for my hands. Therefore, I was really happy owning it. But it is very large, not just long but also very tall, so when you grip it at first, it feels strange. Since I have big hands (im a 6 foot tall guy), I prefer this, but for many other people this would be very bad.
Summary: I really like this mouse. I'm not a gamer or anything, so i just used it for simple tasks. I really like the smooth scrolling wheel. Battery lasts for a very long time. I've maybe changed them 3 times. I recommend this mouse. I knocked on star because it can be a bit difficult to set it just right for yourself, and if you have more people using it they'll be changing the settings as well.
Summary: I use this mouse as my portable laptop mouse because I have rather large hands and do not like smaller mice. It's had zero issues through both Vista and Windows 7 operating systems. I do recommend the ubermouse mod for people who want to do some good customization (photoshop, CAD, and gamers) My only complaint about the mouse is the receiver, its rather large especially when compared to the nano receivers that are out nowadays.
Summary: The mouse is very confortable to hold, better than the old MX1000 and MX Revolution (yes this is my third logitech mouse). Its a bit bigger than the revolution but in a good way (very confortable to hold). Its a bit heavier but the 2 AA bateries should last months instead of weeks off the old mini lithium battery of the mx1000 and revolution. The only downside and only aplicable if you come from a mx revolution, its the scroll wheel.
Better than the Microsoft "Blue Track" Explorer mouse

Summary: I purchased this mouse after finding a good price at a local store, allowing me to replace the Microsoft 2.4GHz Wireless BlueTrack Technology Laser Explorer Mouse with 30-Foot Range and Easy Battery Recharging Base (5AA-00001). that I had been using. While the Microsoft mouse was pretty good, I found that it went through batteries pretty quickly, and even before the light started blinking, I could tell that the battery was near drained because it would stop tracking...
Summary: This mouse works well on most surfaces but not very well on my couch. It is also rather heavy so if weight is a concern I wouldn't by this product. Other than that it is very comfortable and all of the features are great. Also the part that plugs into your USB socket is rather large.
Summary: I actually use this mouse for a home media application but, this would be a great mouse for any application except for competitive gaming. The buttons have a good feel and the scroll wheel can be set to roll smoothly or with notches. Your preference. The range is decent. Around 10 ft. or more and it reads most surfaces pretty well. If you have man sized hands you will appreciate the shape and size of this mouse. It's not to big for a woman's hands though.
Summary: Logitech makes some of the better wireless mice out there. I use this thing in my office, and a few things make it a pain. My desk fan seems to throw off my wireless signal. The receiver is rather bulky; but, for no good reason, since it won't read if obstructed by thicker desks, your body, etc. My PC is under my desk, and the mouse won't pickup the signal. I believe my desk at work (like many desks) are lined with some kind of aluminum though.
