Excellent but not without its flaws

antdarky, Viewpoints
7 October 2012
  • Excerpt: I have been using this mouse for a few months now, as I got a desktop recently.  This mouse is what I wanted - ergonomic, lots of buttons, wireless, and big enough for my hands.  Therefore, I was really happy owning it.  But it is very large, not just long but also very tall, so when you grip it at first, it feels strange.  Since I have big hands (im a 6 foot tall guy), I prefer this, but for many other people this would be very bad.

"Superb Quality and Comfort"

  • Pros: This Logitech MX1100 is absolutely the most comfortable object ive ever put my hands on. (We're talking computer peripherals here people = P),
  • Cons: Seriously whats not to like? Dpi only 1600 (if you really need higher..but most people dont) Must buy cordless wave pro bundle to have rechargeable port on mouse(Although it still uses one single AA rechargeable battery so not a major CON)

"Buy Rechargeable Batteries"

uncleyitz, CNET
4 September 2008
  • Pros: I have used rechargable batteries in my mice for years 2 batts sit in the wall charger and 2 in the mouse I swap em as needed I have thrown out 2 perfectly good bluetooth headsets when the battery died User replaceable batteries is a huge plus for me
  • Cons: The on-mouse DPI setting is a waste for most users who will set it and forget it. No Linux version of the SetPoint software.

Lgitech MX1100 Cordless Lazer Mouse

J. Bedford "Auto Motives", Amazon
26 March 2010
  • Summary: Iis is a big mouse, but it is comfortable...using another smaller mouse just feels plain wrong now. A normal mouse feels uncomfortable basically, and I could not go back to using one. On a normal sized mouse, the back of your hand rests on the mouse pad which is quite hard, whereas with this mouse, practically the whole of you had rests on, and moves with the mouse, which is so much more comfortable, and relaxing, and easy.
