Summary: As always Logitech make great mice, responce is great and it only has a tiny bit of lag if left still for a while and then used, this is hardly noticible, I use it for everything even gaming, battery life is amazing as i use it for hours each day and get 2 months out of a set of duracells, top stuff.
Summary: I previously had the MX1000 for about 5 years. It was pretty worn out and the battery would only last 3 days so I decided to replace it. I had the MX Nano for my laptop (which unlike the MX1000 allowed you to replace the batteries) and was quite impressed with battery life. So I decided to buy the MX1100, because I was looking for something similar to the MX1000 but without an integrated battery. The mouse is big, it fits nicely into your hand.
Summary: I previously had an MX 1000 which I loved, but one day the charging cradle stopped working so Logitech replaced it for free with an MX 1100. For me having a rechargable mouse was important as I had bad experiences with older Microsoft wireless mice where it seemed I had to replace the batteries every couple of weeks. I was worried that once again I would have the same problem of having to constantly change batteries.
Summary: Iis is a big mouse, but it is comfortable...using another smaller mouse just feels plain wrong now. A normal mouse feels uncomfortable basically, and I could not go back to using one. On a normal sized mouse, the back of your hand rests on the mouse pad which is quite hard, whereas with this mouse, practically the whole of you had rests on, and moves with the mouse, which is so much more comfortable, and relaxing, and easy.
Summary: Had the mx1000 before this one. Has the features of the revolution with the excellent scroll wheel and buttons, but the sculpting and shape of the mx1000. Rubberised grip wont wear out unlike the pseudo rubber on the mx1000. Pros: Best scroll wheel ever Long battery life Good build quality and rubberised grip. Cons: Heavy weight makes it a drag to move around. I also have the newer Logitech performance mouse which blows this one away.
Summary: Works great on my macbook pro. Kicks the flakey mighty mouse (apple) into touch. Battery life excellent no bulky charger cluttering up your desk. Free wheeling roller ball brilliant also it has a button to turn it off if it is inappropriate (I turn it of for cad Apps ). The best mouse on the market IMHO.
Summary: This was the third Logitech MX1100 I have had, the first through another company the mouse did not function at all, the second one I purchased through Amazon the scroll button malfunctioned, Amazon replaced it, the third one the pointer would freeze I would have to lift the mouse off the desk top replace it and it would then function again. it could be all right then for maybe 3-4 minutes before freezing again. So I have given up on Logitech.
Summary: As I am currently using the MX1100 (until I get a refund/replacement) it took me twice as long to simply load up Amazon and reach the review page. After only 2 or 3 months of use now it boasts the following added features: Broken battery case Mouse wheel that is sluggish and resistant Left click that gets stuck, springs up slowly and sometimes doesn't even get recognised I use the mouse fairly regularly on an engineering university course, and for gaming, but not...
Summary: the first 2 mice were doa (dead on arrival) but the 3rd was good and i am impressed with it .i have had a mx700 for years but lately it has been doing some strange things so it was time i replaced it .this 1100 is a good buy it does all of what i want ..
Summary: What a great mouse, feels perfect in the (right) hand, it has a multitude of buttons, all reprogrammable, and the hidden one under the thumb is very clever. Build quality feels high, with a nice balanced weight and smooth tracking. The main selling point of this mouse though has to be the scroll wheel - smooth non-click locked scrolling and keeps scrolling with momentum under its own, a bit like a fly-wheel is the best way to describe it.
